  1. Friend of mine moved to Bangkok about 6 months ago, then suddenly found she was losing quite a lot of hair. I think sometimes its maybe related to stress, hormones maybe even a drastic change of diet. I was told by Zenred hair loss can be related to Sebum which is the oil we produce from our scalp and too much of it causes hair fall. They sell some good hair loss products that I think work well and seem to make hair grow quicker, its called QOD Vitta shampoo, I use it myself and you can also buy tonics that you squirt on and massage into the scalp.

Anyway, for hair extensions my friend found another salon in ploenchit for anyone still looking for alternatives, its here:

And another place you may want to check out in Sukhumvit road is this one::

  2. just strikes me as very strange, i was always under the impression that Thais dont want to lose face, so why are they humiliating their brothers and sisters... i can only see it as the same reason Songkran exists and all rules and concern for the safety of others goes out the window - why? because fun is more important than life!

  3. it was probably just a misunderstanding, many big hotels like the Erawan and four seasons try to maintain a good status, but in the lobbies and hotel bars the prostitutes are always loitering, even dressing up with designer clothes they are trying to catch a rich traveler or business man. Perhaps the staff only spotted her sitting alone, or thought she was a bar girl looking for her next jump because they must get a lot of them. She should responded quickly and efficiently to the manager and ensured him she was not, but she understands his concern at trying to keep the hotel in a respectable order.

  4. I hope this goes big IN THE MEDIA because it is a perfect example of how the Thai Gov officials are not only corrupt, vindictive, spiteful and plagiarizing work due to their lack of ability. How thailand deals with its own people is always to back them up even if they are wrong, murderes, thieves. they will always back them up purely because Thais stick together. Which is just morally bankrupt.

  5. Yes but if Thailand admit to having help by foreigners, the chief of police cannot get his big fat raise or tips from the PM for his flawless investigative prowess.... Notice 2 days ago he was quite angered when the US asked if they could assist Thailand. Ofcoure less than 24 hours later they pulled the Turks out of the hat, and he has been all smiles and laughter on the TV ever since...

  6. Ýep the QOD MAX SILVER Brazilian keratin product has been available at Zenred for at least a year now, i've seen it and its a purple color.

They also have a brand new Keratin product i tried about 3 months ago called QOD MAX PRIME. Thats not specifically for blonde hair but my hair has been beautifully smooth and glossy ever since. From what i gather, it lasts a bit longer too. I think they are both the new generation of keratin products where you no longer need to wait that 48 hours before your first wash, Its also a bit different because they wash the product out before the flat ironing procedure.

Zahara salon in Sukumvit 13, yes they also have the latest QOD MAX SILVER Brazilian keratin, i found it here:

As far as the color fade goes, im not sure about Blonde hair but from what 'my friends told me i gather MAX SILVER its to prevent yellowing on blonde. Im not so sure it will stop your color from washing out though, because you need the clarifying shampoo before any keratin treatment, and that opens the hair up so will always wash a bit of my color out too. What i try to do is I always try to do my color the same time as keratin so they both tend to last longer.

Anyways, goodluck with the QOD Max Silver keratin ;)

  7. its not just the curfew violation they need 100 cops for... its the hope of finding a few farang or rich thais on Ice or meth that can garner some hefty bribes to get out of court, enough to pay all 100 officers some tea money too.

And as far as a license goes in Thailand LOL - there is your standard 2am license - then after 2am you can stay open until 5 am provided you pay UNDER THE TABLE to the police district chief cronies, but this is never on paper and at anytime they will raid you, just so they dont look as if they are accepting bribes. But when the fine comes they will usually waver it to a smaller number. that is one scenareo, or they just stopped paying the extra money and the BIB got pissed so wanted a shakedown. notice it was only 15 mins after closing, not very long so the police weren't taking any chances.

  8. first time i came to Thailand - my body was getting all sorts of rashes, weird allergies and sickness bugs. Then after a few years i was healthy and hardly ever sick, can eat anything and sleep on any beds. the body is sensitive to all sorts of things when in a new country. Then i went to Australia 2 years ago and couldn't acclimatize again. was sick for 2 weeks just from different food, different water, stomach acid and all sorts of weirdness.

  9. this is a new generation of circus -minus the animals as they are fast becoming banned for animal rights reasons.
Still i think its a good move forwards, hopefully more pyrotechnics and computer imagery and modern laser shows with a story line and some amazing gymnastics will bring circuses back into the 21st century,.

  10. there is no way around this! you cant possibly wipe out extremists without killing innocents, its simply the tactics the extremists use by hiding among them, trying to brainwash and secure more numbers to join them when innocents are killed by the West, angers rise and extremists can recruit much easier. On the other side the Obamas US has long been critisized by the pro bush voters for not having any spine, they want war and thrive on it. This time Obama is giving them a little of what they want but keeping it lowkey so as not to be the cowboy.

Conclussion: no way around this really - unless its another game of Oil using the excuse of fake extremism, innocents and lots of them will die in the crossfire, then be named as extremists to keep the US looking like the white nights. its all pretty transparent i think.

Personally i think the extremists do need taking out quickly, as they are growing and going global in their pathetic attempts of fighting for fake religious causes. but what choices do they have, and what has the US to gain from this? why send troops over, what financial gain will come to the US from this? and dont tell me there isnt one... there is always a hidden agenda!
