Personally I wouldn't be bothered in the slightest as to me they are the same thing just called a different name. Who if they ordered one and told they only had the other would then order a different drink ?

For those looking for a nice hot pepper sauce then Sanphet in Nathon has some very nice " Crystal " Louisiana hot pepper sauce that is better, IMO, than Tabasco and is very reasonable at 55 Baht for a 177 ml bottle.

Whenever you get the chance, just kill them. You don't need them breeding in populated area. Sure the snakes "were here first" and Cambodia used to rule Thailand. So what?

A friend went and got himself a dog from the local dog rescue place. a nice looking dog and just what my friend was looking for. When I bumped into him a few months later I asked about the dog and he said he had to give it back. Why I asked ?

Poanoi if they refuse to show you any ID then simply tell them you want to go to the police station. They will either take you there or leave.

I have done it several times without any trouble.

Hi, You have two choices. One is the bus / train to Chumphon and then the ferry to Samui via Koh Tao, KPG and then Samui or the bus / train to Surat Thani and then the ferry direct to Samui. The first you spend less time on the bus and more on the ferry. Around 4 hours with stops from Chumpon and 1.5 hours from Surat. I tend to only take the trains now after so many bus accidents.

I didn't realise it was so expensive. Well I say expensive but compared to back home it is a pittance.

My house is surrounded by jungle. I get lots of snakes in the garden. I have always found that they tend to slither away as soon as they hear you. A dog would help as mine have a certain bark for cobras and they seem to be the only ones they kill. I was also told it is the baby cobras you need to be careful of as the adults realise that they cannot eat you so will bite but not venomate you simply as a warning to leave them alone.

I don't have kids though so can understand your concerns.

I happen to have a small cute puppy looking for a good home that comes from very good Cobra killing stock, his mother is very good at it

I know very little about American politics apart from the fact that the people who really run America have you all running round all this time arguing and fighting over whether to have Coke or Pepsi as the official drink of America. There are around 10 people running to be president yet you are given the choice by the people who run the country of picking from their own two puppets. The other 8 are simply ignored yet they seem to have the interests of the American people at heart.

​All my children have been brought up to " man it up " as you say. if something like this had happened they could come to me and tell me and I would sort it. They certainly wouldn't stay silent for 40 years.

The fact that all these people didn't say a word for 40 years left a monster free to molest and abuse hundreds if not thousands of others makes them somewhat responsible.

As said already. As soon as the troops leave, quickly followed by the president and his cronies with the billions they have looted from the aid money, the Taliban will once again be back in power. It will then revert back to the tribal and primitive country it was and always will be and run by religious savages.

That said as much as they weren't very nice to their own people they never threatened another sovereign state and certainly never the UK. When the UN asked them if they could do something about the opium production they did. under the Taliban no more than 30 tons of opium was ever produced. Unlike the coalition that has failed to keep this up and it now runs around 650 tons a year.

Their mistake was to ignore the demands of the USA regarding Bin Laden. When the USA can't get what it wants with diplomacy it tends to get it with its military might. as history has shown.

For me the troops, especially the British troops should all be pulled out now.
