I forgot to mention that the beaches were very nice, the water was clear and there was no sign of litter or overhead cables ! -

I spent four days in Da Nang last week and was surprised at how much cheaper everything is in Vietnam compared to Thailand. It was around one third of Thailand prices. Restaurants serve much larger portions of food and the people were genuinely more helpful and polite. The traffic is also not a problem. We experienced no traffic jams at all. -
I flew Bangkok to London and came back from Frankfurt, business class recently. The flights were both full and the service and food was very good !

I recently flew on Thai Airways to Europe and back, in business class. The service and food was as good as other airlines I have flown with such as Etihad and Emirates. No complaints at all.
