OP do you think that the reason yours took so long is due the reputation that Walen has with regards processing Thai visas for those who otherwise would struggle to stay long term?
Perhaps you think this is a clever comment. However if you knew anything about this subject you would know that there had been virtually no PR's issued in the last 6 years until the recent batch.
And by definition I asked a 'question' and we tend to ask questions when we seek information, right. And we tend to comment when we already have adaquate information.

But it took him 10 years, not 6.

Have you done any reserch via the UKBA site? Its all there....

This is for a First British passport, so in the UK

Multi entries and noone ever cares that you enter through a different port IE visa issues from German embassy enter through Holland as first port etc.
Have fun

Hello Everyone, following on from other 'waiting time threads', getting the British passport is the last link in the chain. Yes, we all know what the officials websites say (IE up to 6 months for citizenship and my Mrs just got it in less that 2 months)
So, how ong has your partner been waiting / waited in the past for their first British passort from sending the application in through to the interview through to receiving it?
Cheers
Don

Why not buy 10 400k condos and rent them out at 3,800 per month, a better return on trying to rent out a 4 million condo.
Sounds like a good idea.
But where can I buy a condo for 400K in Pattaya?
I wouldn't care to live further than a bahtbus ride from any rental units I owned.
What you want is a mucky row of hongtaews. Rent money or rub.
-
Nonta buri ar Muang Thong Thani in the tall 30 story buildings on Bond st. you can buy 2 BR 1 bath about 55 sq mts for 1 milliom if u shop. Monthy fee about B800. Good 3 star type set up. save the left over money in the bank.
I said I want to spend 2.5 - 4 Million mate which has rental potential.

Cause I dont want to as the title suggests. Being a slum lord isnt really my thing.

Now, if that said 'at' rather than 'with' it could have been nearly amusing
-
Mine was easy enough. 2000 baht for the lass to process it as a backhander so she did it quicly after the Nai Amphor had signed it off. Think it took 2 weeks.

You know, your sentence doesn't flow properly without the elusive 'please'.

Don W they are probably in Thailand right NOW scouring the hills for us expats, what they dont know though, these agents of the DWP is that they wont get any annual inceases in their wages!! They will soon scuttle off back to Blighty.Guys remember this site is seen by many including the likes of the pension office etc no need to make there work to easy. We all I am sure have ways to take care of the future, so mums the word.
Unbelievable. Do you really think big brother is monitoring the ramblongs of a cackle of silly farts like us?
You will spot them a mile, all HANDSUM MAN, EVEN THE LADIES!!
My wife went to the local council yesterday to hand in my vote for the Police commissioner. She said the voting officer was hairier than me!
-
I'll post the response from DWP to my questions, when it's recieved.
Excellent.

Same as above, also for your extensions at immigration can be helpful
Agree - I was turned down for a multi entry visa once and when I pulled out the YTB he apologised and issued it immediately.
You can't get a visa here in Thailand, the best you can do is get an extension of stay and your YTB may get you a re-entry permit, although there are thousands of individuals that get a re-entry permit by virtue of paying the fee and having a valid permission to stay, YTB is purely optional
Obviously, we all know that.
I had the YTB with me at the Thai embassy!

PS my wife has just read all this thread. She is sorry too that you have such a weak understanding of Thailand and suggests you join the Thai studies course (Culture not language at Chula)
Good night, God Bless.

We all want to make life easy for us and those around us, I would call it forward planning, sadly its not a subject taught in the Kingdom.
Oh thats just great, Bagwan. First we have a racist saying that Thai women do not have the capabilities to navigate a simple form and now you, the Peacemaker, are professing that the collecticve Thai populace are incapable of forward planning as such a skill is not taught in the Kingdom.
I'll tell you what - your Thailand is wholly different to mine and I thank Allah that I do not live with the people you live with who have obviously helped you form such dire opinions of Thais and Thailand in general.
You people need to pull yourselves out of the gutter.
That's your lot - I am disgusted and will not be responding again - life is too short to deal with aged Chavs.
The only ine with a grasp on the true reality is 7by7 in his own way!
The End
