The Information they need is in their computer showing the transfer came to them first. The information they didn't have was the request and certificate forms. They received these forms from K-Bank Pattaya

I believe Credit advice letters are only issued at banks where you have a account at. My July deposit came to Bkk bank via K-Bank. I went to the main branch of K-Bank in Chiang Mai and received the following letters. One is a letter to immigration stating information is to be used for extension of stay or something like that. 2nd letter is a watermarked certificate showing transfer amount thru K-Bank. Documents needed:
TW receipt pdf copy
Bkk Bank Book
Passport
K-Bank will do this every time requested. Fee: 200 baht for both letters.
Hopes this helps

Reply to earlier post. TW sent my funds to Bkk Bank by way of K-Bank in Chiang Mai. K-Bank, Chiang Mai Thapae Rd, filled out a request and a watermarked certificate to give to immigration a my next annual extension of stay. I have attached copies with redacted parts.Request&Certificate.pdfRequest&Certificate.pdfRequest&Certificate.pdf K-Bank received this information from K-Bank Pattaya.

Bangkok bank told me the same. Contact the intermediate bank (T-Bank) for credit advice letter.

I just returned from K-Bank (Chang Phueak Branch) in Chiang Mai trying to get a Credit Advice letter from them as the intermediary bank on a international transfer (SMT) to my BKK Bank. Apparently I am the first to ask for a bank to bank letter. The Asst. Bank Mgr. called Bangkok asking for more information on what to do. She took photo copies of Bkk bank book, passport, and TW pdf receipt. to send off to K-Bank in Bangkok. She said it will take a couple of day to get back to me. So stand by.

I just received the same form letter from TW. Since i use these transfers for immigration purposes, I may have to revert to Swift transfers.

I am a victim of TW new transfer system. What bank due you request the Credit Advice letter from? The home bank (BKK Bank) or the intermediate bank (K-Bank)?

Just received a international deposit (Transferwise) to my Bangkok Bank account via Kasikorn Bank. I went to my Bkk branch for a Credit Advice letter. Was informed to go to Kasikorn Bank to obtain letter since they are the original receiving bank. Went to Kasikorn Bank for Credit Advice letter. Kasikorn Bank needs more account information from my Bkk Bank. For 5.5 hours both banks were talking to each other and nothing resolved. I sat at my branch for two hrs before I was sent to K-Bank for a 3.5 hr wait.
Question: Does anyone in the Chiang Mai know what Bkk Bank and K-Bank where I can get this simple matter resolved?

What is the name of the form you can request from your receiving bank, to show international transfer is received by a intermediate local bank?

Good point. Still no big deal on revoking upper echelon security clearances. It's just another way to rag on Trump.

It is not uncommon to lose your security when leaving government service. I lost mine on government retirement. I don't know why these former government officials still have there's. Once you go into the private sector there is no need for it. This is a big deal about nothing. Get a life and move on.

Thanks for your response. I will run two lines from my C.U. one 15 A for lights and one 20 A for outlets. Bundle them in a weather proof box for later use.

Building a small one bedroom house (7mx7m). Wife wants to add a covered patio later with a couple of lights and outlets. Should I split the C.U. inside the house and add a small weather proof C.U. wired for later use? Or is there a simpler way ? As always, thanks for your advice. P.S. Not our main house. House is for visiting family.

Where to buy automobile wire and splices in Chiang Mai?

My wife said ok to block emergency vehicles if they do not have their sirens on. Thai logic?

Thank you so much for the replies. You guys rock.
Im gonna get something like dengo today.
My gf found a guy in hang dong that sells it and installs it for 2500.
He also said that i should go to icon square and look for systems there and he would install whatever i find for 200-300. Seems like a genuinly good guy this one. Not greedy. Helpful to the point of telling you where his competitors are lol. A true sign of good will.
Let me know if you want his contact.
I would like your contact for dash cam sales or installation in Hong Dong

I booked a hotel thru Agoda on my trip to India. I checked the box "book now pay later". Agoda replied, if payment is not made one week before arrival, reservation will automatically be cancelled. Wrong, Agoda charged my credit card. I am a member with Agoda and they had my credit card information. Contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. They said to email them the cancellation email and the would reverse the charge. I had to eat the charge because I didn't email Agoda of my cancellation. My fault for not following up with simple email.

Thank you for your quick response to my Holographic Will question. I only have two assets in Thailand, my car and my bank acct. I think I will transfer my car to my wife and internet transfer most of my bank account to her bank account. She can take what is left in my account by ATM card. She has a will thru one of the Foreign/Thai law firms in Chiang Mai. I am the sole beneficiary and the executor of her will. I know reading all of your comments that Probate Court is a fact of life for foreigners in Thailand. My wife said, "Thais don't do this". Again, thank you for all you great knowledge and insight into Thai Law and their Legal System.
-
For a Holographic Will in Thailand, it doesn't get any simpler then the example in Section 1657 of the Civil and Commercial Code of Thailand.
Any comments from Lawyers and Legal Experts?

I didn't give K-Bank any number except what is on the TW pdf receipt. They were making phone calls to Bkk bank San Sai and Bangkok Main office. Before we left the office she told my wife, that she sees the transfer on her computer. The only info she didn't have were the form letters from K-Bank that she received from Pattaya. I will check with K-Bank on the 11 digit code.
