And the earth's plants just love it....

The diminishing numbers on land do but the increased CO2 tension is forming more carbonic acid in the sea and affecting the algae, which contribute significantly to the O2<>CO2 cycle.

Don't waste your time trying to convince warming deniers with scientific data. They're hard-wired to disbelieve every bit of evidence that the planet is warming, and a significant cause of it is people-generated.

Most of these fools are over consuming gluttons on TV so don't expect them to agree with this article...

  2. The time of centralized power generation is OVER!

I'm working for a renewable energy company selling, building and/or operating environmental friendly and carbon neutral Gasification power Plants. Yes, these plants are rather small, only a few Megawatt at the time are economical. But the idea is to have a lot of spread over all Thailand. With this, nobody would need the big coal/gas/oil fired plants anymore which damage our environment and health. Oh, and by the way, no more stupid power cuts anymore...

Sounds good but we need more solar power generators on these islands with so much sun exposure!

  3. It seems like women always want what they can't have.

When I was single, many women seemed to be interested but its like as soon as you get into a tighter bond with one Thai girl, your attractability meter jumps up 50 points to the ringer?

Anyone else out there have similar experiences?

Lot of truth in that. Single men are sometimes a bit desperate. Or maybe they're viewed as "also rans" or "leftovers". Or maybe they're just sad sacks.

Married men are often more desirable than single men.

Yeah I've seen some pathetic losers 30, 40+ in Thailand who have actually been searching for thai girlfriends for over 2 years and STILL cannot find one. While others are getting robbed of their money on a daily basis, it seems like you and me my brother are the lucky ones. Dont let these pathetic old men drag you down. I told them all about my GF handwashing my clothes and giving me massages everyday and they thought i was trolling or just dreaming on fantasies. What really makes a man feel good is when he is called a Dreamer but in reality its the truth he is living another mans dream!

    Cool.

It wasn't until I came to Thailand that I learned there are sad losers out there who are jealous of other men's girlfriends.

They live here in Thailand, and they crop up from time to time on forums. They are the ultimate social inadequates.

Don't give out too many details re: your GF. Some of these creeps will hate you because you've got something they can only dream about.

In other words, live the dream, but don't feel the need to share it.

Exactly, Only jealous people feel the need to criticize others for what they have because they are in desperate need of the same..

  4. I have spent the last 2 months single for the first time in my life. After a 1 month ordination at the Forest monastery I have been trying to be celibate for atleast another month. When I first came here it was tough going 1 week without finding my first S. H. But now it is fun being the bachelor and all hottt college students smiling at me makes my life even more difficult but one of these days I'm going burst and give in to the temptation of seduction at university level!

So many beautiful college students from wealth families want to be my companion after they are all well aware of my 17 year old GF. It seems like women always want what they can't have. When I was single, many women seemed to be interested but its like as soon as you get into a tighter bond with one Thai girl, your attractability meter jumps up 50 points to the ringer?

    www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/600972-why-are-so-many-young-hot-thai-girls-not-after-our-cash/

Maybe the OP should at least try a little to get his stories straight....

Well obviously my 'being single' didnt last so long...as I said in the that post also, THE temptation of college students is unavoidable and obviously i was corrupted by a beautiful 17 year old, but I was just testing others

  5. I'm starting to feel like an overly eligible bachelor.

  6. Militants view the school system as an effort by Bangkok to impose Buddhist culture on the south.

Utter rubbish, the objection is to education in general.

Education is promoted by Islam and some of the first universities and libraries were established in Islamic countries. e.g. The University of Fez claims to have had a continuous existence since 859 AD. Where I live in Pattaya, the local Muslim children attend the government schools or if the parents can afford to do so attend private Thai schools. They absolutely encourage the children to have an education. For education regards Islam they attend school at the mosque on Saturday.

It is terrible that more than 60 teachers have been murdered during the past five years in the Deep South. I understand the local language is not used in the schools and the "insurgents" see the curricula as a tool for eroding their culture. This objection no way justifies the killing of teachers. Hopefully a member of TV who has deeper knowledge can confirm if this is correct/incorrect; not just babble on with generalised misinformed comments about Muslims in Thailand.

Many ignorant westerners are unaware of the how many muslim villages in the South of Thailand have been exploited by the Chinese-Thai's and cheated out of oil rights in a land once considered a part of Malaysia. You must truly understand the history to understand that cultural diversity should be accepted and to force Buddhism on every government school student is complete discrimination. I don't agree with killing innocent people and teachers to prove a point. But I do agree with equal rights and for the government to stop preaching buddhism in the school systems all over Thailand...

  7. I have been seeing this college student for the last month and she insisted she was 18 and I believed her because she had her own apartment and car and was going to college to become an architect. When she went to sleep at my place I checked her ID in her wallet and she is only 17. Is this completely legal in Thailand if her parents have no problem with it? How will the Thai people see me if I'm a 33 year old man? I met her at a nice park and she never drinks alcohol or talks to foreign men so she is definitely attached to me to the point she cant keep her arms off of me or calling me while i am gone!

    Any advice?

  8. ...

The only reason that rules and laws are created is because a large proportion of the population are breaking the norm of traditions and social hierarchy. Tribes in olden times, didn't need many laws as they didn't go outside these rules until influenced by other civilisations.

The more laws that a country has in an indication of how broken their society is. A law is only created because it will be broken. having to make new laws is always a bad thing

People introduce new laws to protect freedoms we never had before

That entirely depends on what law you are talking about. Laws that are made to prohibit harming ones own health like the war on drugs is just a way for the mafia government to extort money from these dealers and recirculate into another cycle of cats and mice. New laws prohibiting toxic waste being dumped in the ocean, etc are feasible and need to be strongly enforced. But the war on drugs is a no win war, because its the worlds number 1 industry and even those in power with the world bank have cocaine stained bills being deposited...

  9. I lent someone over 500 thousand baht and I never got paid back after having a contract and everything so make sure you get yourself a dam_n good lawyer and official paper work before letting anyone borrow anything of value in Thailand!

  10. In Khon Kaen they pay 8xxx Baht a month if you work in a Villa Market shop, so i think 7Eleven is the same !

    Plus overtime etc.

Actual is min. vage in Esaan under 200 Baht a day at the moment.

They're getting gutted from inside out worse than a turkey at a russian Thanksgiving! Thanks TV for the 7000 plus reads on my topic!

haha that s like getting chicken plucked by the entire thai government!

  11. Don't care what Anybody says here, but Thai ladies do not like farang land.. They are there to not worry about financial stuff. They don't like the weather, the early darkness or the food. When the honey moon period is over then sad.png . You may be lucky but l know a few farang that are paying a price.

If you can speak thai with your GF that is what makes it PAST the Honeymoon period, i always have true love..

  12. Tinfoilhat:

I wonder is consuming alcohol in Saudi or the UAE make you a druggie?

the lines seem pretty arbitrary to me.

    --

we all have our own perceptions of what is right and wrong,. I like a drink, and I rarely had to compromise in the UAE

    SC

many arabs feel that medicinal MJ is better than being a drunk. You are a drug addict if you are having that drink everynight of the week cowboy..
