Ended up getting Christmas lunch at a place called WAVE in chaweng was 490 baht for an amazing plate filled with lamb shanks potatos peas corn carrots brocoli gravy best value I've seen anywhere..

They also had chicken and pork roasts available..

Will definitely be going back next year..

Trip is confirmed for 28-29 there will be 4 bikes so far let me know if you are interested in joining.

It's a 5 1/2 hour ride each way and we'll stay in ranong for the night.

If you're doing for visa 90 day extension the boat to andaman is about 800b if you're just tagging along its only about 100b.

I heard that the power is meant to be out again 21-22 is this true?

Heard from two separate locals and also someone wrote on here that there are trucks driving around saying the power will be off.

Seems legit at least this time it's expected... Looks like cold showers and take away for another few days...

I heard a similar rumour from some locals saying the power would be out in samui 21-22 about a week ago not sure if its true or not tried to post but TV blocked it for some reason.

I can't get the navigation to work here only the preview works..

If you go to Siam commercial bank they offer accident insurance with their bank accounts it costs 1800baht per year..

Other banks offer similar options I've got a few accounts and you can use them together so I have been told..

But I am still fortunate enough to not have had any accidents...

How do you not see a car coming at you on the wrong side of the road?

Have you seen the old Thais drive? The ones doing 25-30 on the side of the road..

Try this.. Then if someone is on the wrong side of the road you can easily stop or move out of the way...

If your vision isn't a problem and you aren't prone to driving too fast and you happen to crash once more in your new car I suggest you employ a driver or sell your car..

Please take it easy and try not to kill anyone or yourself..

Hi I am looking for anyone that is interested in going for a ride across to raynong on 27-28th dec 2012 easy ride a few hours there 20 min boat over to casino in andaman and back to raynong for the night then ride back next day.. Should take 5-6hra total including boat to donsak..

I'm going regardless just thought it would be good to have someone to ride with.

My visa is up on the 1st jan so dates are a little flexible..
