  1. Serco began in the 1920s as a UK subsidiary of Radio Corporation of

America, providing technical support for the country's growing cinema

industry. Just over 30 years later, we won work that was to shape our

future direction. From a maintenance contract for the UK Ballistic

Missile Early Warning System at the Royal Air Force base at Fylingdales,

we expanded into the operation of its technical facilities. In the

1980s this model was acknowledged as best practice by the UK Ministry of

Defence and rolled out for the management of other defence facilities.

most of serco's workers are imports to oz, wannabe's from the ol blighty, I had a holiday at one of the queens australian residence's

  2. Sorry, thought they're called RAM memory cards. What would you

call them? You need at least 700+ MB of RAM to run programs like XP.

Windows 7 needs at least 2 GB.

so did I, ram, random access memory, as opposed to rom, read only memory, these days rom can be written to, eg usb stick (universal serial bus) usb can be used to increase ram in some windows versions

  3. The West has the most obese people and most food hysterias.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy the west doesnt seem to do to bad here

Yes, I agree many of the GMOs are about producing CHEAPER food - cheaper
because they store better, retain their freshness longer, have greater
productivity, more resistant to pests and diseases - the type of food
we all want and the Monsantos of this world have taken that on board

oh my, tried eating vegetables grown at home? cannot compare supermarket junk to home grown

  4. Not only was the doctor who advised you a script was not needed wrong,

the pharmacy broke the law in selling it to you without one.

fair enough, I found many different answers from chemists, and 2 dr's, was told script needed to not needed to hospital only, shopped around and over 2 visits had no problem, thanks for the info

  5. some pharmacies carry the legal ones some dont, some expensive some not, a matter of shopping around, Secondly it rather depends on what you mean by "steroids".

Corticosteroids (prednisone, cortisone and the like) are prescription

only, for good reason given the dangers associated with their use.

not so, prednisilone needs no script in thai, though many chemists havent a clue, got a 500 bottle on koh chang for 500b, asked at dr emergency and was told no need script goto pharmacy

  6. as a blow in tourist, twice of 1 mth I agree totally with the op, if its on the menu I should be able to order, 4 english speaking chemists and different answers for a non script drug, 20 cabs refuse to take in bkk, amazing, but I just smile as I have time on my side, eventually I get what I want but thai lady hopeless in her own country, chokdee

  7. I have to agree with SeaVisionBurma's post above, looking online to fly with thai lady to phuket it was about 15kB bkk return, she suggested taxi to airport in morning for cheaper fare, so we go and I send her to counter with cash and have a smoke outside, fare was up to 24kB, songrangy prices says she, anyway change plans an went cheap as to koh chang, by vip bus (info)

  8. Actually it's not right at all, the crystallization depends on the

type of honey and conditions of storage, it doesn't show it's 100%.

    http://scienceline.o...stallizedhoney/

correct, I had a jar in the freezer@-18 overnight and it isnt cyrstallised, a bit hard but a sharp knife penetrates and reaches the bottom of the jar, bees are also fed sugar water if honey is low for winter but I think they consume it rather than produce honey, buy it in the comb

Malaysian get married in Thailand according to religious rites. This does not mean they go to Thailand to marry a Thai. Getting married for second or more wives are stringent with groom having to proof that he can afford such marriage and with permission from fist wife.

I dont know about thai laws etc but christian man with wife in malaysia only has to change religion to muslim and new wife is possible, my lady friend in malay then had to appear on 7 separate court occasions to have divorce granted, she did not approve of wife no2, cheers
