Incorrect once again. I spent 21 consecutive years away from UK. Upon my return I have had no issues with receiving NHS care. I know of many others in the same boat.
Being unable to receive NHS care because of long term absence is a bar stool myth.
100% correct

Ahh those damn dinghy guys eh , really a threat to The narrow minded peoples front of the United Kingdom of far right wingers isn't it , similar to those pesky Normans invading or maybe the Vikings , how dare they try to get into the land of milk and honey and steal our women and jobs , fill up our schools , speak those silly foreign languages , steal from our national health services ... Long live the British Empire I say .
What a load of <deleted> I assume you are living in Thailand, and maybe a hypocritical leftie happy to be ruled by a military government presiding over rigged election where 1% of the population own 63% of the wealth. Ahhh but then you may be one of the few instead of the many.

If "back home" is the UK, a "driving without due care and attention" charge would be highly unlikely.
Why ??

Thailand is also a very rich country, yet the inequality between haves and haves nots is huge.
Correct the last figures i saw was that 1% of the population owned 63% of the wealth, near enough the highest disparity in the world!

Good luck Thailand you need it being in a country where 1% of the population have 63% of the wealth, free tests cant do that might bring the wealth down to 60%!!!

One death per !.5 million in the UK estimated that 10000 lives saved by taking Astra. 17 deaths a year caused by blood clots on long haul air travel go figure

Everything he said was correct, the EU may have backtracked now, but it does not alter the fact that this bunch of unelected mafia have finally been seen for what they are.

Some more false information from a brexiteer with blinders on.
EU suspended the talks with Thailand in 2014 because of the military coup and the following bogus election, but not something the UK cares about, as they are desperate for another trade deal just to have it on the books, to show to their blind followers.
Trade deals with third world countries, which are the only deals UK has managed to get signed yet, don't have any value.
A free trade agreement benefits only Thailand, because they export almost double of what they import.

I don't think it as black and white as some make it to be. It's just business first. I guess if they made a profit and paid their bills there wouldn't be a problem. Who knows what other issues there are. I would like them to stay rather than let in PTT corporation's Amazon or the other oil company competing with PTT's Inthanin Coffee. I want the little guys to have a chance but in the end it comes down to business. Thammasat isn't getting the financial support it got before now that it is supposedly private or some sort of private-government entity. If you look at the campuses around Bangkok and vicinity, you'll find that they all have or are trying to load up with renters. Thammasat Rangsit has two Starbuck's, Swenson's, Dairy Queen and a Tops plus a lot of other franchises running on campus, not to mention about 10 7Elevens. These universities aren't what they used to be. They are all looking for more money/support.
With that said, I do hope there's opportunity for those disabled people.
There is no opportunity for the disabled in Thailand .

How low must you be to steal an injured person's belongings?
Truly wretched, debased... I would say not even human.
Its the norm here, had a pal who was sadly killed in a motor cycle accident by the time he was taken to hospital, rings and wallet had gone! Guess it does happen in other countries but not on a regular basis as in Thailand.

The only reason Thailand was never colonized was because the French and the British who were not to keen on each other at the time, had an agreement that Siam was to be left as a buffer zone, nothing to do with any heroic stand by Thailand

So of he also put other stuff in her name, duh, good move guy. The rest is
standard if you want to live in a house, you need a wife to have the house
in her name. Not a great ending for this fellow.
Geezer
You are wrong I owned my house in Thailand which was in my name only. I hear his all the time you can own he property but not the land , same as leasehold.

Privatisation is the only answer.
It is the only way that the elite parasites will be stopped draining Thai airways.
At the end of the day parasites always kill there hosts and that applies to a lot of things in Thailand not just airlines

I look forward to this ‘post mortem’ but get your own house in order before you go pointing any fingers at the Chinese.
Well isn't that what he said?? The only thing for sure is this bug came out of China so to me his statement makes complete sense.

I have a feeling tourism in Thailand is about to end dramatically. There is absolutely no chance that any insurance company around the world is going to issue a $100,000 insurance policy that specifically covers the Corona virus and this is what the Thai government is demanding for every tourist entering g the Country on top of this everyone including Thais need a medical letter issued no longer than 72 hours prior to flying stating you are free of the virus I don’t know of any other country in the world that is demanding these draconian measures even those who have to do border runs won’t be able to re enter Thailand due to these demands.
Your right just had email from my insurers that any travel booked on or after 18 March will not cover Coronavirus
