It will only take one student anywhere to blow a whistle at a protest and it will probably become a criminal offence to possess one as there will be the intent to criticize the government !

Lots of perception problems with the word tourist as probably the first thought is of foreign visitors.

Many Thais travel at holidays but don't think of themselves as tourists as they stay with relatives, eat at home etc as opposed to those who live in hotels and eat out.

It suits the Minister of Tourism to call as many people as possible ' tourists ' to inflate her already dodgy figures.

No targets this year, finally they've realised the futility and it removes the need for them to BS when the figures soar, well the ones that aren't fiddled as much as possible that is.

I wonder how many members feel like me and will be glad when this is all over as there's so much nonsense being posted and it gives the idea the winner could be announced now, not that I'm suggesting things won't be above board.    

This compliments the thread about tourists buying counterfeit items by proving Thais buy the real thing.

When he says things like this in the cabinet room i wonder who is the first to laugh or do they all wait obediently until he does first ?
