The authentic food is back in the kitchen, being eaten by the Thai staff.

He moved back to the UK last year, he lives in Wimbledon.
Did he wear that outfit on the plane ride home I wonder?
He's an interesting character but a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

DiNiro - I think you miss the significance or your encounter .
Scamming....mmmm is that really corruption or just criminal activity?........the significance to me is that these people are allowed to operate in the airport on a daily basis......why? Because those that run the airport and their minions are corrupt...they are the ones taking a slice of whatever the scammer earns.
I was not pleased with the treatment at the airport and phoned the AOT.
The lady I spoke with said "same thing happens in your country."
Maybe if I was from Nigeria....

Mosburger serves good burgers. They're a little small as Sure says, but nothing to fear. Decent fries, too.Mosburger looks scary - is it OK?
Or am I getting confused with that chain that sells mostly pork burgers.. confused I think.
The burgers here are in the same catagory as McDonslds.
Nothing special.
Junk food.

I was on holiday in Europe recently and the word is out about Phuket.
Not pretty.

Criminal!
Glad to see the police finally doing some fine police work here.

Poor tourists. And this happens after you get thru Thailand International Scammer Airport.

This sounds like a scam. Be extremely careful with your personal information.
Permit me to inform you of my desire of going into business relationship with you. I got your contact from the International web site directory.
I must not hesitate to confide in you for this simple and sincere business.
My father was a very wealthy cocoa merchant in Abidjan, the economic capital of Ivory Coast, before he was poisoned to death by his business associates on one of their outing to discus on a business deal. Before the death of my father on 30th June 2012 in a private hospital here in Abidjan
He secretly called me on his bedside and told me that he has a sum of $15.5M in a suspense account with one of the Bank here in Abidjan, that he used my name as his only Son for the next of kin in deposit of the fund. My Father also explained to me that it was because of this wealth and some huge amount of money his business associates supposed to balance him from the deal they had, that was why he was poisoned to by his business associates, that I should seek for a God fearing foreign partner in a country of my choice where I will transfer this money and use it for investment purpose.Dear One I am honorably seeking your assistance in the following ways.
1) To provide a Bank account where this money would be transferred to.
2) To serve as the guardian of this since I am a Boy of 19 years.
Moreover, I am willing to offer you 20% of the sum as compensation for effort input after the successful transfer of this fund to your designate account overseas. If you are interested on this deal kindly get back to me.
Thanks and God Bless. -
They are creating rental space.
The trees, the benches & landscaping was wasted space.
Look what the did to the beach, the footpaths and sois. Every square centimeter is valuable space to be exploited.
.....and yes, they will put up vendor tents in the new lane on weekend festivals.

Same same your country!.......

When I flew into the Thai airport yesterday, after clearing immigration, the first 5 people I encountered were scammers, so it set the tone.
Makes me think all Thais are scammers......
Welcome to Thailand.

Pizzas (as we do in the main store) need what's called a salamander (broiler). We don't have room on the truck!
Salamander?
I prefer anchovies.

If you could get past the airport without meeting numerous scammers it would bring in more high rollers.
Disgusting Thai culture at its finest.
-
I would like to inform the officers in question that a gang of criminals running the jet ski concessions on the beach have been assaulting and defrauding tourists for years.
They could start the investigation on the beach across from the police station.......

It's illegal to scam a farang. The fine is 1,000Bt.
Most of the scammers prepay the fine to police monthly.

Please feel free to name company's who have multi skilled staff doing multiple jobs
Is this even a serious question? If it is, then you obviously have never been to a Starbucks. Here are a few more: Bake & Brew, Benjamit, and Pitini.
It sounds as though you are incapable of properly training your staff. You might want to start with yourself.
Pitnini in Pattaya???? you joking right? do some Google searching and see the reviews
I am sure you can do a better job, naturally behind the keyboard
Pitini is one of my favorite places for coffee and a meal.
The staff is great. I don't know how he does it.

Why is it "idiotic"? Surely something had to be done about the sorry state of the promenade. It's already looking better and at least it should be given the benefit of the doubt. It will be interesting to see what happens when they hit the walkway area that is already very narrow (they are, in fact, right there now). There is hardly any room for a proper walkway and lane extension. And you cannot reclaim more of the beach area because it is already receeding. Too bad that all of those old-growth trees that provide at some shade and beauty will be destroyed by this idiotic project.
The previous promenade was only 5 or 6 years old!
It was in a sorry state since there was zero maintenance and the city set up vendor tents directly on top of the flower beds.
Will it happen again?
Yes.

High society types funnel their criminal activity thru important monks.
This story will dry up soon.

Staff staying only 2 days?
You must be making them work........

Overcharging for jetski and motorcycle rentals? What is this guy smoking?
The jet ski complaints stem around police assisted extortion, assault, kidnapping, fraud & intimidation.
Getting mugged or physically assaulted by illegal taxi drivers?
What? It is the legal taxies that pay police to lease prime scam turf in front of hotels.
Professional scammers/criminals using taxies to defraud tourists.
This guy is out to lunch.
Soon, Thailand will be put on a no-go list by the Ambassadors.
Good.
