Hello! I am undergoing a light medical procedure this weekend and would really like to get some numbing cream, specifically Emla, since I’ve used it before. Does anyone know of a specific pharmacy that sells it?

Can anyone recommend a clinic or specific hospital in Bangkok that does earwax removal using a small vacuum? An estimate of the cost would be great too, thank you.

I’ve recently changed jobs and will be going to Laos next week to apply for a Non B. I will be entering Thailand again on 16th June on the Non B, but I will fly back to my home country on 13th July. I’ve heard before that you cannot leave the country within the first month of obtaining your Non B, is this still true? The agent my company is using assured us this rule doesn’t apply anymore and was only used during ‘Covid times’.

Now that Laos has reopened, are there any reports of successful Non B applications? I’ve seen Savannakhet mentioned lately for other types of visa applications, does that mean Vientiane isn’t up and running yet?

I’m currently on an ED Visa until late August because I am studying my Masters degree here in Thailand, but I plan to drop out, start teaching and switch to a Non B. 1. Do I HAVE to leave Thailand for this? The school that I’ve interviewed at has a visa agent who suggested I do a visa run. 2. Is it necessary to cancel my ED Visa at immigration? I did this before when changing universities and went from 1 ED Visa to another, but I don’t plan to study in Thailand again. *most important* 3. Where is it possible to do a visa run/apply for a Non B nowadays? I read that Cambodia takes 5 days now. Is Laos an option? Or anywhere which is less than 5 days. Or just come back on an entry stamp and convert that to a Non B within Thailand? Other suggestions? I have a South African passport and all necessary documents for a Non B. Thank you.
