If this guy has access to cash, he will be out on Bail next week for a rape and murder. In this case, the mob will hopefully get him first

It sounds like a Monty Python Skit. Are these cops really that stupid?

Like last time this discussion came around, I think the best pizza in Pattaya is from Dao's cafe on the Dark Side.
Where is this place? I have never heard of it but will give it a try and report my opinion.
I have had some decent pizzas and a couple of average ones at Le Mars in Jom on the beach about Soi 16 ish.

Don't you miss Walmart ???

Always sad to lose an old friend
At least you managed to find a vet who would put the old chap out of his misery, so many times here we have posters whose pets would be better off asleep but cannot find a vet to do the deed
Why is that so? Why will vets not put dogs in pain down in Thailand?
They look like very well cared for dogs by the way.

These are an annual display of the BIB showing the rest what will happen to their stock if they do not cough up some $$$$$

I got fed up with several issues, moved to Bangkok Bank and have never had any of the issues I had at K Bank.. I do concede in fairness, it may have been some staff at that branch were just pricks.

Pad Thai Jan 1 increased by 33%, that's after portion sizes shrank a couple of months ago.
What percent of the Thai consumer index is Pad Thai? And, not my Pad Thai. So apparently only where you buy Pad Thai? London maybe? Or LA?
Pattaya Buddy. Anyone who thinks that Thai inflation is 3% is nuts.

True snake story. A friend's cousin is a policeman in Australia. One day on patrol he saw a man walking slowly around a parked vehicle on the side of the road. The man looked suspicious so the policeman stopped and asked what he was doing. The guy replied that he had run over a Tiger snake (venomous) and didn't see it come out the back. He would not have been concerned except he had done the same thing the week before and the snake had crawled up the underside of his vehicle. Then, when the guy returned to put his car in the garage the snake came out from under the car and attacked him. In the present case he didn't know what to do. The policeman cousin suggested the guy take his car to the garage for an oil change and lube job.
I have been nervous my self after running over some snakes and not seeing them in the rear vision mirrors. When I parked the car I got out quickly !!!

I don't know about the flashlight trick, but a meter long piece of green bamboo that is 3 cm thick, and has a 3 inch screw threaded through one end, will make short work of any soi dog that tries to bite you. Just act like you don't notice it creeping up behind you and then swing around and nail it in the head. If they survive they won't do it a second time. It also works well on men who bother women at night.
Interesting method. I reckon you could use it on some of the Boozoos down on Walking Street early in the mornings too !!!!

Silk Air will be your best bet. Darwin is a great city for a year or two. I think people there for many years get a bit funny. It is the best example of succesfull multi-cultralism I have seen in the world.

Villa grocery stores are very up to date with environmental concerns. You have to bring your own bags to the Nichada Villa. I'm sure the rule about the cars running is to save the environment. It probably concerns drivers who sit in a/c cars while waiting. Schools have this problem too.
I think you hit the nail on the head. Schools have the sign to stop people like me who happily leave the AC and car on for an hour if I have to wait out in the sun while the ex did her thing, (spending my money on crap she did not need).

So, she had a job and then quit to live with you? Big mistake. Now, you are responsible for taking care of her and her family. I would say B10,000/month or whatever she was making in her job.
Yep, when she was working her guts out in a factory she was getting about 12,000B a month with OT, so that was the bench mark. That included the ludicrousness request to borrow money form her family as well. If they wanted money, she could loan it out of that. Not once was it ever paid back. Anyway, she is the ex now. I pay nightly now, much less stress.

Can you translate that to Thai?
This is a classic you should publish and put up in every internet cafe` for the fake Thai brides to read and learn

Kevvy, That is so bad that it is actually funny !!!!

These stories are very believable when dealing with Banks.

Often the revision are bigger than the number The this is sneaked in down the track as the revision of the revision and all the eyes are on the latest fake number.
It is a bit like Yinlucks White Lie policy

Do what the Thais do. Smash them and don't peel. Fried or boiled you can eat it all.
I don't peel the small ones, just smash em. You can get big ones easily, I think they are all imported, that's what the Thai ladies say anyway

Is it venomous? I have seen this snake in Thailand 99.9%. When I get close it disapeares like magic into the grassa nd then I still don't find it when I mow the grass 10 mins later.
Very timid snake.

However, he said the foundation had been taking good care of its teaching staff and was contributing Bt45 per teacher to the welfare fund every year to cover free lunch, uniforms and birthday gifts.
45 Baht a YEAR, Maybe your free lunch is one tiny grain of rice per day. I was under the belief that this was a good school, are we talking about the campus at Sri Archa? Good Care my butt.

I miss the 1980's Pattaya, this is why I fell in love with Thailand and its women. I really wonder how a Paradise can go so wrong to the mess it is now, all in the name of development. Look how peaceful it is.

After reading the first two pages and the last one, I feel sick. What concerns me even more is I feel this is not just a one off. Didn't the tourism minister recently say that if a girl accepts a dinner with a man that this means he can have sex with her and it is not rape in regard to Bad Man In Krabi?
I feel like I want to vomit and meet this creep in a dark ally.

This is the Thai way to show Thai-Ness to forigieners, ops normal, nothing to worry about. I wonder how much she had to Bribe the BIB to accept her complaint.?
