Most Harleys have a Legal book..If he is willing to go with you to change the name then go for it..Enjoy your Legal Harley
I used to ride an illegal HD in Thailand. But I want to go 100 legal now.
If I can transfer ownership it has to be legal right?

Hi buddies!
I have a question.
A shop other than Power HD imported a new HD from the US.
They got a greenbook issued and sold it to a thai guy.
Now I want to buy it from this guy but Im scared the bike is considered as grey market.
If we go to transport office (Mo chit) transfer my name on the book, that means the bike is 100 legit. RIGHT?!
The bike is slightly cheaper than the market price, that's why Im no sure if its legal or not. Iron883 2014 2000km for 550k
Please advice!
Thanks and safe ride

And how about if i change schools, do I get an other 2y waiver?
What happens after the 2 years waver? The rules, implemented over 10 years ago but only enforced 5 years ago, still stand.
1. BEd, MEd, or Bachelor's degree in any subject plus PGCE, GradDipT etc or (active) teaching licence from another country
2. Thai Culture Course
3. Proof of 1 year's teaching experience in a K-12 school in Thailand or another country
Heads have recently rolled at the TCT & 2 year waivers are being given out like candy. Previously only 2, or 3 under special circumstances, were granted but now it's a free for all; things are likely to change soon.
I get fired?
You have to show 'progression' toward qualifying for the licence then you will get another one. Most do the Culture Course.
Be aware that pay & conditions are worsening every year here while living costs are spiralling, especially in Bangkok. Agencies are making inroads with 9 months salary, over a 12 month contract, becoming the norm. This will only get worse once the BTS extensions are finished.
At the same time, competition at the top (EPs / low tier inters) is becoming more fierce as long term teachers are trading up to education degrees; only the dregs left for the rest!
Cheers

Hi,
Im not sure Im in the right section but I have a good question.
Getting at the end of 3 years on a morgage from UOB on my thai wifes name. She has no income so onlt uob and scb would lend us money.
Now I want to refinance to get a cheaper rate. Tried krumgsi and Tanachart. Both said my wife has no income so no loan. Eventhough money comes on her account everymonth (from me).
How to do?
