Time to get your fantasy teams in Alex,Joboss,Gazman, not sure if Optad has made it back from his fishing trip.

    Anybody else keen?

Farmer Joe, I will not be in the Fantasy Team Tipping this year, I actually did not make any changes last year to the teams and I am out of my depth knowing teh players etc.  I would like to be in the general tipping though.

    Regards

  3. As for the AFLX, it did not impress me and I watched bits of the matches which did nothing to inspire me either.  If they mentioned the Zooper Dooper phrase any more I was ready to throw something large and heavy at the screen, surely they could have come up with a better term unless they threw it open for suggestions from a kindergarten which named the Ferrie McFerrieFace

For a PC I have found the best to be WiTopia, you can get for both Apple and Windows.  Australia Plus TV has stopped broadcasting online, why, you will need to ask Malcolm. Do any stations broadcast the matches in Australia you can watch them in Asia.

Is that the loud voice of experience speaking or are you just pulling a percentage out of thin air?

I have a number of farang friends and most of them, including me,  have been in relationships/marriage with Thai women and still going after many years. There are always ups and downs in any relationship, but that is quite normal.

You paint the picture with too broad a brush I feel. Yes, there are many gold diggers and opportunist females out there, sometimes no more than anywhere else in the world. There are also many conniving and less than worthy men.

If a grown man often many years older than his partner acts foolishly with his finances, then that is his own fault.

But, as I say, in my experience many Thai/ farang partnerships seem to work. It's not always take on the Thai side.

However, I do concede too many western men enter relationships with eyes wide closed.

Add me to the list of successful marriages and relationships.  My wife actually pays for me as I am not on pension yet and have money invested instead of using so not all are the same

Maybe start at the source first ! Education? Personal responsibility? Punishment?

I agree another thing for proper fines to be generated where ever rubbish is thrown illegally, another earner for the Government to provide services.  Will also assist in making Thailand a tourist destination as people will not be swimming through rubbish.

  7. Australia is no different in Road Rage although here I believe guns may be used at times.

To my mind the penalties need to be increased substantially, the Police need to be properly trained and resourced which they are not.  The fines could certainly pay for this.  I believe they should be looking at crushing cars for repeat offenders.

I do not see respect for themselves, other road users or the Police by a lot of Thai drivers.  Many seem to be bullies by following to close to get you to move out of the way, the speed limit seems non-existent.

Thais are not stupid as a lot of people state, it is within their culture to use the roads as they do and it will be a big problem to fix and will not happen overnight.

Holding Road blocks for what purpose is beyond me although I got a fine for not filling in the log book when I had red plates, not sure how many fatalities that stopped.

Also pay the police a decent wage and if they break the law, such as riding with no helmet as many do they lose their jobs.
