Why would you even bother? You can get it done in the States without going to Thailand. Why would you think you need to go to Thailand? Cause she's there?
Your already separated. Just file the papers.
Am I missing something?

Good for you Dave!
Step by step.

You are not a good person for what you're done and I personally hope you get nailed for fraud.

All of the above and I found her. We're in our 20th month back in the States now and it's wonderful.

Good luck with that. Life is really hard on dogs and cats all over Asia.
Broke my heart to see some of what I saw.

Wow this is still going on? My wife and I lived in Santi Thani and left 2 years ago next month and the water situation was horrible.
You should contact Farang62 and ask him to set you up with whatever he thinks you need. He made suggestions to us when we were there and had we stayed, I would have spent some money, but would have at least had clean water.
I mean jeeesh, it really was bad. And it's worse now?
Beautiful place but glad to be outta there.
Sorry for the negative report.

Drugs, especially pot are very evil.
Especially pot. It's a gateway drug. You start rolling them in paper and then advance to bongs.
Plus you gain weight.
Very evil. Must be stopped.
For "freedoms" sake of course!

Don't worry about it expiring. Make sure your lady calls or stops by to speak to someone about that before it happens just in case but I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Ours expired by a couple of days before the actual interview but it turned out that it didn't mean much. Ours was in Vietnam.
We're now in our 20th month in the USA and life is grand!
Good luck!

My wifes online website has been successful in helping several dozen good men meet and marry nice ladies from Vietnam.
It's Loveofasiavietnam.com

You aren't doing the right thing and it's guys like you who make it tough for everyone else.

Best of luck! My wife and I are in our 20th month in the USA. Went thru the "process" in Saigon.
Be ready for anything is the best advice I can give you. That includes legal combat.

I'm an American at heart but I don't necessarily think or view things as the "average" American any more.
And the transformation is complete! That's a good thing as the "average" American is not much different from the "average" Brit", Canadian, Thai, Vietnamese etc in that the "average" human is about the same as a walking potato.
And as tony soprano might say "tings ain't nevah gonna be da same" for you!

Dear Dont Marry A Thai,
If I were you, I'd stop posting on forums and go looking for a job, earn money and feed my kids.
Peace,
Sphere
Now that is a worthwhile suggestion. The question is ' Will he do it ' In my H.O. he won't. He's a pathogenic whinger ( and / or a serial troll )
Sounds about right.

Am I missing something here? You say you've been taken for a fool? 16 years of marriage, 3 children and she's left and that's it.
So that's it. Be thankful she's not an american wo-man as she would be getting your house as well as a real good percentage of everything you earn until the "children" are done with undergraduate studies ( which you would also pay for) and guess what, you don't pay for whatever reason you'll just have to deal with a jail cell.
So how is it you've been taken for a fool?

Avoid Santi Thani like the plague.
Beautiful views and nice houses, but poor telephone/net.

Demonstrated foreign travel to western countries and return to Thailand is one more indication of her desire to return to Thailand after foregn travel to western countries.
Well maybe to western countries but to the US there has to be clear proof of compelling reasons in which to return to Thailand or anywhere else in Asia for that matter.
Young single Thai girl? I'm sure she would like to visit you in Cali.
Highly doubtful that she will be doing so unless you marry her or go thru the K-1.

Look up Anne Tours when in Saigon. You'll pay for it but can get a 6 month multiple entry pretty quickly. Cost about $150.
They're probably the easiest although most costly until you learn the ropes.

There is no provision in US immigration law for posting of any bonds or money to allow a foreigner to come to the US or guarantee their return.
Think about that. If that were possible the line forming would circle the globe.

My wife had to pay the Consulate about 80 bucks. She received a receipt which she had to show when she went for the interview.
Hope this helps
