Hi guys, just about to complete my quarantine time in ASQ. Quick question, when I go back to Chiang Mai on Saturday do I still need to visit immigration to update my TM30. or has this been scrapped now? I'm still at the same address by the way, Cheers

That's great guys, thanks for the up to date info, much appreciated

Hi Guys, just a quick query, planning on doing a visa run to Mae Sai sometime next month, any problems i'm likely to encounter, for the record I've no other visa exempt entries this year.
Regards

Thanks for the information and you're right, what's required is plain to see on the website, problem is 3 different people quoted me the wrong information. I may well just go to Mae Sai as I'm not sure I can face going through all that again. Thanks once again :)

That's interesting, wasn't aware you could still do the border hop at Mai Sai. I'm on a UK passport

I think they may of misunderstood what you wanted. Those are the requirements for a one year extension based upon marriage.
From the immigration website. https://www.immigration.go.th/content/service_24
Well I did wonder if that might be the case. Basically my visa runs out 30 days before I'm due to go home and just wanted to extend to cover my stay, but they seemed to turn it into a big deal.

Well guys, went to Immigration Chiang Mai to see exactly what i will need to extend my 90 non O for a further 60 days, turns out things aren't as straight forward as I thought. They require a signed embassy letter confirming income, photos of whole family at address, hand drawn map and a whole raft of other stuff. This being the case I may as well leave the country and re-enter.
Can a do a 30 day on arrival (not done this for a few years), or am I best going for a single entry tourist visa (again not had one of these for a few years)
Plus, where's by best options to travel to? As always, appreciate the helpful insights of those in the know.
Regards

Thanks for the replies and the useful information provided guys, seem to have everything that's required, just need to find out about landlord/address requirements.

Bit of background first. Married to a Thai and rent a house in Chiang Mai. Was just wondering what paperwork is required to extend a single entry non o visa for 30 days. Think I've got most things covered, have copy of lease etc, but may struggle when it comes to getting other documentation from owner as they live abroad. Appreciate any advice on the subject.
Kindest regards

Thanks for that ubonjoe, always so helpful. Thought this was the case, but thought I'd best check with the experts first.

Hoping someone can provide up to date info on obtaining Non O multi from London. Married to a Thai with a child and looking to spend this winter in Thailand. What's the current state of play, are there any financial requirements needed for the visa? Had a look on their website, but thought I'd ask here for a more definitive answer. Thanks in anticipation.

Currently based in the North of the country (but willing to travel), I'm a 48 year old UK male who's looking for a short term teaching or writing opportunity.
What Makes Me An Attractive Proposition?
Well, I'm trustworthy, reasonably well educated and because I have varied work experience in Thailand, I'm able to adapt to a wide variety of working conditions.
Please get in touch if you're an employer who feels that I might fit their brief.

I order shirts every year from these people. I just ordered 106 shirts.
That's brilliant mate, whenever you can, no hurry. Much appreciated.

Yeah, but not useful ones otherwise I wouldn't bother posting here would I? But thanks for the pointless input

Looking for a reliable print operation in Chiang Mai to print T shirts for me, any ideas? Already searched the forum as I don't like to waste peoples' time, but found no definitive answers.
Kindest regards

Great stuff, thanks for the quick response.

Hi Guys, I know you've probably been asked this a thousand times, but is Mae Sai still ok for Non O multi entry visa reactivation.
Kind Regards

As the topic title states, I'm an experienced content writer looking for interesting projects, be they of the one-off, or repeat variety. A bit of background information about myself:-
I've been article writing for a fair number of years now and with this experience has come the ability to create headline grabbing content. I'm well travelled, well informed in a wide range of subject matters and can be trusted to meet deadlines, whilst always maintaining the highest of standards.
Please feel free to get in touch if you require any further information, or you feel you have a project that might, perhaps, be suited to my writing talents.

Looking for some enlightenment re returning to live with Family in UK
Been married to a Thai lady for 6 years and we have a 4 year old. Looking to return to UK to live permanently, what I basically want to know is, do I have any chance of making it happen.
Bit of background info, I own a property in the UK which is mortgage free and i'd be looking to return and either set up my own business, or seek gainful employment. Any chance, or is it a no go as I'm not currently working in the UK.
Cheers in advance for constructive input.
Leaving Thailand, what airlines are permitted to fly to the UK?

I flew KLM to Manchester last month, it was fine, the worst part was the long connection time in Schiphol.
