That has to be one smelly place with the garbage piles. I can't stand the smell when I walk the blue garbage containers. really don't know how the pickers can stand it either.

Re 10 year visa...I am just under the 100000a month but if I start collecting the Canada pension plan it will work. sure dont want to keep 3 million in.the bank for a year.

I remember we were at some family gathering when I was young. in New Brunswick or Maine don't remember which. But they went clam digging and got a couple of lobsters for a feast. I have never forgotten that.

I recycle everything I can. have a gal that comes around and weights them and give me few baht. the only thing I can't find is where to recycle the dead batteries. I hate to have them go in some landfill site.

Thais are not use to cold weather. but coming from a cold climate in Canada

..only in the winter and hot in the summer we had seasonal clothes for all the seasons.  I can understand why they have a hard time with this.

My company use to send us to a fire school to train. they lit tankers on fire with diesel fuel and you used a fire hose to fog the area so  someone could turn the valve off to shut off the fuel. 

It was good training . 

I use a cloth bag  and the one time I forgot it the girl at Tesco ask me where it was. slowly education is taken place. 

Even at the pharmacy they know not to give me a plastic bag for a small item I can just put In my pocket. lead by example. They will catch on.

I said this before. just put a gadget on your phone or pc and let it count down to the date. that way you know when to go to for the 90 day or the one year extension. easy.

I usually go to Samet every year. I think I will wait now till all this demolition is complete. Garbage ...I find the beaches are fairly clean but other areas are not. I am use to seeing garbage now as all of Thailand is like that. I try to lead by example and clean up anything caused by me. The worst is coming back on the ferry and pulling up to the pier. So much crap in the water. Just discussing. I wish I had a list of the resorts being torn down. I got a map of the island and would be good know which ones.

I usally stay in the Hat Sai Kaew area.

Back home I barely carry cash. All done with a atm card.

They already.do that in the west. Wife use to work in variety store and kids would buy something under a dollar with a atm card. Some places you only have to point your card at a device. No need to use a key pad to input a pin number.

I have already seen commercials in the US. "don't drive buzzed". Get caught and it is same as getting a DUI.

What's matter with you..I got a 4 and half old boy...full of energy. I take him to the store he knows to hold my hand going across the street. kids don't know the danger. they have to be taught. the boy was not stupid . .just made a mistake.
