    And the same applies to Macron: The 8th of May in France is the celebration of the end of WWII and the victory of the Allies over the Nazis. So "our victory" applies for "Allies victory", not France only. D Day celebrations in Normandy always include all the Allies countries. The "Ally" concept may not be easy to understand for some though 😉
