  1. The first time, I was nearly a victim of theft in my street, 20h by a couple of young Thais motorcycle. That nightI have was lucky.

1 month later, between 8 am and 9 am 30, a couple of young Thais always motorcycle, entered my house, stolen my computer, hand bags, with papers and money. I think he had to monitor me and knowing that at this hour, I was at the beach.

After this flight, I mentioned around me in Hua Hin and several farangs were victims of robbery or by pulling necklaces around the necks of women, or the bags either in their home, so that they were present. .

  2. Électrique 3 roues scooter à Chiang Rai ... 28000THB roues électrique E motobike.jpgattachicon.gif

    Hello,
Well that is not exactly the bike I am looking for, but Isaw them in store 53 who I knew well, and there are choice, but between the folding bike and one that looks like a "bike motor "or" moped rentals ", I hesitate.
End of April I have an acquaintance who comes to HH and which can advise on me.
In the hope that there are always these bikes.
Thank you very much for your kindness to everyone.

I have not had time to look an electric bike, but 25 000bhts it is expensive.

Furthermore, I not feeling driving a scooter, the alternative "freewheel" and "pedaling" suits me better.
I thank you and give you result.
    Good day.
  4. Thankyou for the replys guys, but to clarify a few points as I have not been very clear, it would most likely be just for expats as I am certain that Thais would have no interest at all, also I appreciate that several other people may have mentioned opening such a facility before and I must admit I have been considering this venture for quite some time now, also I am in a fortunate position that I have the funds to do this, however the realisation for me is that my dear mother is getting older by the day so the time is fast approaching that I need to make a choice of either making this happen or go home to the UK to care for her as I am at sometime sure to need professionally trained help, I do love living here and hope to remain doing so therefor by opening such a place would perfectly suit all concerned, also on top of knowing that my dear mother is receiving the best care possible we would have the pleasure of running a very rewarding and hopefully successful business, so any information or advice will be gratefully appreciated as I have never been more serious or nervous about anything in my life, Thanks again.

    Hello,
I find your idea very well, but why a home for older people with mental illness.
You will find over the 3rd and 4 th age in good health and independent, but who do not want live alone or to dependent on their children.
Personally, the solution would be open to all nationalities house with doctor on demand, close to the beach and the shops and not in a place where you should take a tuk tuk, taxi or van to move about.
The total independence, but with discreet surveillance.
  5. As a single retired female ( early retirement ) after many years in Asia... HH... boring, non existent nightlife, only IMO one great restaurant, in '' town'' that is. Try having a pleasant drink anywhere in this town, as a female, not so easy !

    Golf, good.

Proximity to BKK great, so go up there for entertainment.

Traffic, its the same wherever you go.

Beaches, agree need a good clean up, and can anyone tell me why there are no garbage cans on the beach ?

I could hazard a guess why.

Shangri - La doesn't exist, so make the best of what you can.

    That and keep smiling

Ah! very surprised by your reaction.
It is only my opinion but you should not to please you in the different countries or cities where you have crossed.
HH, although small, is a pleasant bustling city. Just look and say that there are very sad locations worldwide to appreciate what we have.
As for the glass that one can takeand which is a difficulty for you, where is the problem?
Per cons, true, no garbage cans or archi-full. And relatively For Sale Apartment City.
    Woman alone and assume.
    Good W.E.
  6. Get to your Embassy as quickly as possible. I'll COST you but shouldn't be too difficult to replace.

Hey, I've heard of "Money Laundering" but this is the first "Passport Laundering." (Sorry about that, it was just too good an opportunity for the line.)

    I thought about that, too.
What an idea! but with what? I would hope that he had put the fabric softener.
