  1. True but even without sending any Canadian funds, they said since I do not use any form of online/mobile banking with them, that there was no problem and at all and that is was still active as always. I simply wrote them expalaining my situation and they said in an email that is should be good and if I wanted more confirmation, to just call their info line(s). From the information you provided, this kind of regular savings account usage not employing or registered for any kind of online banking, should be operational as always. Should you require any further assistance or wish to be reassured, please let us know. You can contact our phone banking center at 1333 (for domestic) or (66)26455555 (for overseas) during all hours to acquire more information.    Faithfully yours,     Bualuang Phone  Bangkok Bank Public Company limited
  2. Yes it it was.....OP stated Bangkok Bank so that is what I am referring to.
  3. If it happened the way he said/where he said, lots of cameras in that area. I really hope we get a follow-up to this one!
  4. I just called the bank from here in Canada yesterday and said I do not use online/mobile/remote banking at all and just send funds through Wise and use my ATM card when I come. They said it should be no problem then and should be active. They then asked a few security questions and then I gave my account number and they said it's okay. I sent a transfer right after the call and it took Wise 9 seconds to transfer. So if you do not use online/mobile/remote banking it sounds like you should be okay too. But if you do, good luck with that!!
  5. Don't matter, let him eventually pardon her like we all know he will. All of that is going to be released eventually anyways, with her opening her mouth or not, it won't matter. No pressure right now by the Dems as the Grand old Grandpa Party fights amongst themselves. And whatever does/doesn't get released, it also won't matter as all those victims and witneses are said to be coming forward and it won't be pretty all over the TV to dispell their/his spin of it. And with a subject like this, it's a slippery slope for them....and especially for the Orange One. So for now, get the popcorn, sit back and keep watching the show.....just as the Dems are doing now!!!! And let's admit, isn't it funny watching the Bronzer Man squirming / losing it? LOL!!!!! 🍿🍿🍿🍿
  6. Have a few email addresses but have had my hotmail since 1998. For the past 10 years or so I change my password on it every 4 months for security reasons and never ever have had a problem.
  7. Well at least there are no hostage demands like in Taiwan.................yet!! Taiwan police arrest gang of pigeon kidnappers Group threatened to torture the birds if owners failed to pay ransom https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/news/4921630
  8. The restaurant owner accompanied police and filed a complaint for property damage and unpaid food bills caused during the altercation. Initial estimates placed the damages at 50,000 baht per person involved in the fight. And the tip ??????????
  9. Yah right. I guess every time someone "falls" from a balcony here, it's normal to see in the news "all" the hotel guests fleeing like rats from a sinking ship. Just a normal occurance. Not buying what you're selling sorry!!!
  10. "Slump"???.....isn't it called "low season" ???
  11. The GOP sure like listing "wins". Shouldn't we be fair and balanced here.....oops sorry, I stole that from Fox "News". So since taking office this time, how about listing the Orange Man's legal losses: ----------------------- 1. Hush-money case – Supreme Court rejection On January 9, 2025, the U.S. Supreme Court denied Trump’s emergency request to delay sentencing in his Manhattan hush-money conviction. This was a 5–4 ruling that closed off his last attempt to postpone the virtual sentencing scheduled for January 10. nypost.com --------------------- 2. Birthright citizenship executive order – Preliminary block On February 6, 2025, a federal judge in Washington (Western District of Washington) granted a preliminary injunction blocking Trump’s executive order that sought to end birthright citizenship. The Ninth Circuit refused to lift this injunction on an emergency basis on February 19, and later the DOJ appeal was declined—effectively maintaining the block. en.wikipedia.org ---------------- 3. Office of Special Counsel firing – TRO upheld by SCOTUS In February 2025, Judge Amy Berman Jackson issued an order temporarily reinstating Hampton Dellinger as head of the Office of Special Counsel. Trump’s team sought emergency relief from the Supreme Court, but the Court declined to intervene, leaving the judge’s order in place until February 26. ----------------------- 4. Deportation under the Alien Enemies Act – Appeals court upholds block In March 2025, a D.C. federal judge ruled that Trump’s deportations under the Alien Enemies Act were subject to judicial review and temporarily blocked them. The D.C. Circuit denied the DOJ’s emergency appeal on March 26 (2–1), maintaining the block. washingtonpost.com -------------------------- 5. "Big Law" punitive executive orders – 0–4 legal defeats Between April and June 2025, four federal judges struck down executive orders targeting major law firms (e.g., Perkins Coie, Jenner & Block, WilmerHale, Susman Godfrey) for alleged politicization. Most recently, in late June, Judge Loren AliKhan permanently ruled that the order against Susman Godfrey was unconstitutional, marking a fourth consecutive defeat ------------------------ (we will omit the stock market "losses" / and how the cost of eggs didn't come down (on day 1 he said) / and the Russia-Ukraine war didn't end on day 1, also as promised / and how about that parade!!! LOL)
  12. "comprising multiple government agencies including the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, the Office of the Attorney General, the Royal Thai Police, the Customs Department, the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), Immigration and Airports of Thailand" Wow that's a lot of brown envelopes....good luck with that man!!
  13. My thinking is why not let Canada punish as I think he was transitting in Taipei. This as I have taken many different airlines BKK-Taipei and then transit there as many direct flights to North America including Toronto originate there.......EVA Air still operates direct to Toronto daily and my guess is he was heading home!! He will wish he made it and caught there.......very soon!!! I-D-I-O-T !!!!
  14. Me too........no problem Wise (Canada) to Kasikorn 10 seconds if that. All working ok.
