I saw photos of these guys running in the streets with machetes in hand but not one of them had a crash helmet. Are the parents connected and they tried to save face?

Police are checking all maternity units at hospitals in Rayong for births in the last seven days to get a lead in the case.

​I'm not telling the police how to do their job but with the umbilical cord still attached it would suggest that the mother gave birth at home alone.

So it's business as usual............school is closed until May 27th due to fire. Says it all really

17 girls died in dormitory fire in Wiang Papao

CHIANG RAI: -- Seventeen girls died and five injured after a fire broke out before midnight and quickly engulfed a two-storey half wooden dormitory of an welfare elementary school in Wiang Papao district of Chiang Rai province last night.

About 40 girls, aged from 5-12 years were staying at the girl dormitory of the Pitak Kiatwithaya school in Tambon Wieng of Wiang Papao district at about 11.00 pm.

Fire fighters spent three hours to put the fire.

Primary inspection revealed that so many lives were perished because the dormitory was locked from outside, thus trapping the victims inside.

Charred bodies of the girls were found at the scene. They were all burned beyond recognition.

Fire fighters said they could rescue five girls from the raging half cement half wooden building, two in serious condition.

Another girl remains missing.

The cause of fire is still unknown.

Forensic police along with Chiang Rai governor and Wiang Papao district chief officer were at the scene this morning.

DNA samples of all the bodies would be collected for identification.

The school is closed for five days from 23 – 27 May due to fire.

He also brought with him a special eraser pen saying it was the same type of pen used by his friend Chuwong in correcting error in the documents."

He knows nothing about the share transfer but was able to produce a pen similar to the pen used by his friend........how would he know that if he knows nothing about the transfer?

The time line on this sorry affair just doesn't add up. If they killed the guy, why hang about? Finding the boat Tuesday morning but waiting until the evening to report a crime of stabbing (she wasn't even on the boat). Kill the father for whatever reason & blame Myanmar workers........am I in Thailand!!!!!!!!!!!

It says on said Facebook page the 'embassy has been informed', apparently.

Maybe we should heed the advise & stop talking about his allegations.

I for one would not like to be in his shoes right now.

There has been footage of the male victim walking alone & it has been said that he returned to his hotel. When he discovered that the female victim was not there, he went looking for her.

For what it's worth, I think a likely scenario could be, the girl took a walk on the beach for no other reason than to be beside the sea. She came across a few guys having a smoke or playing music etc etc & because she didn't feel threatened she shared a smoke & chat with them. Things got out of hand & they attacked her.

David, who has being searching for her, comes across a scene of rape & tries his best to save young Hannah but due to the number of other guys there, he is beaten down & killed. Hannah suffers the same fate as she is a witness.

Unfortunately, the truth will never be known because even if they do catch these guys, the stories will be so far fetched that Stephen King could not write it for them.

I will do the reporting in person so is form TM.47 & my passport all that I need to bring with me or do I need some photos & photo copies of relevant pages in my passport.

I have just done my 90 day report in Nonthaburi so I will answer my own question & it may be of some help to others:

Arrived at office 8.45am & departed 9.05am Tues 5/8/2014

Things I was asked for: Passport, copies of First page, current visa & landing card, TM47. I was not asked for proof of address or photos.

In & out in 20 minutes. Staff were very friendly & the whole thing was painless.

So if you arrive at your favourite bar before 10pm & buy enough drink to last until 5am......would you be ok as long as you do not leave the bar during curfew. Assuming the service of alcohol finishes at the time permitted by the licence or does the licence state that the premises must be cleared by 2am?

Just so people know, the triple entry doesn't add any time compared to the double entry. It still has a 6 month 'Enter by' date, the same as a double entry. It will allow you to leave the country and enter again an extra time if you are traveling, but other than that it offers no advantage, both have the duration length.

Did my border run in Feb 2014 to validate part 2 of my visa & then got 30 day extension in April 2014.

I am now about to do another border run to validate part 3 of my visa......am I still ok time wise from date of issue of the multiple entry tourist visa October 8th 2013.

I notice a date on the visa which says Entry Before 7th April 2014 but does that mean 1st entry or the whole visa has to be used up by then?

The visa is valid for 6 months. You can see the date in your passport. And you must enter Thailand (3 times) before it expire.

So as that clearly says ENTRY BEFORE APRIL 7th 2014, it means the 3rd part of my triple entry visa is worthless, correct?

So many different opinions here, I was told back in August to get a triple entry visa & get you 3 x 30 day extensions and you can have 9 months here hassle free (more or less).

I got it in Ireland last September....€120 if memory serves me correctly.

Just wondering what is the nearest border crossing to Rangsit, Pathum Thani. I've done Cambodia twice but I was living Koh Chang then so don;t think this would be my first option from where I am now. I'm on a multiple entry tourist visa & this will be my last entry before I get retirement based visa next August.

the wife bought a laptop from tesco lotus in pranburi, and it had a 7 day, no questions asked returns policy.

it had windows 8 on it, but neither of us liked it, so we took it back after a few days and they refunded all the cash no problem

At the touch of a button you could have converted to Windows 7.

I would kiss & caress that "magic" button if I could find it.......I hate Windows 8
