I could not imagine living back in the UK with all the rules and regulations and the PC bullsh-- . I like the fact that if i park my car with its wheel touching the yellow line i dont get a fine for 90 quid, like my son in law did yesterday.
I would miss the sun and freedom we have ,not rich, but enough for now ,i also have a terrific Thai family.

Our son had to get the minibus to school every day as it was over 10 miles away , it was a private one used by the school

Thank you for letting me get on with it.if its harmless i will say a prayer for its soul.[emoji26]You obviously don't want or need any help in identifying something that may be harmless, so just do the Thai thing and kill anything you can't or won't recognise, sorry to have bothered you. I think your attitude could do with a slight adjustment.

So when i see a snake i will rush indoors go onto the internet and check if its dangerous or not, trouble is as we have a large garden with lots of hiding places i will have to be extra careful if its a poisenous one when i am out there againThere is a FaceBook page called Snakes of Pattaya, but people from different regions have posted on there, take a pic, post it and within minutes someone will advise you as to the danger or otherwise of the snake, I think that there may well be other sites relating to your neck of the woods, have a search and find out, much better than killing an innocent harmless snake eh [emoji106]

As was said before it is not so much of a problem if you have a supportive family.I have been married for over 20 years and am 100% certain my wife would look after me we can even live rent free in one of her sisters properties if things were really bad. It must be very frightening to be old and infirm with no one wether its here or back in your home country. But at least there the state would care for you.

Cave man behaviour. Not much sign of intelligence and respect for the creatures.
The dog further down in this thread was very likely killed because he either attacked the snake or played with her.
I'm quite sure a human or children bitten by a snake would just run away as fast as they can.
Written by someone who has been bitten by snakes several times already and I know how to differentiate between the dangerous ones.
Well at least us cave men our kids and our pets are still alive and not withered away because of the the mentality that you must love all gods creatures while they bite you to death

Well kill it and save a frog.is not a frogs life as valuable as a snake?I wouldn't underestimate the power of talking to people in advance of a snake crisis. Some can be rather receptive and intelligent.
Others are hopeless reactionaries, unwilling or incapable of processing things they don't understand, and don't want to.
SNAKE! OMG! SMASH IT! KILL IT! KILL THEM ALL!
Hold on a minute, it's a harmless, non-venomous water snake after that frog over there. See?
I DON'T CARE! MUST KILL! NOW! UNGA BUNGA!

Old rhyme Taffy was a welsh man Taffy was a thief Taffy came to our house and stole a side of beef.I thought Taffy derived from the River Taff? I am quite probably wrong.

What i want to know is if its derogotary to use paki for a pakistani is it the same if you call a welshman Taffy or an Irish guy paddy or a Scots guy geordie .or is it only derogatory if your not British or white? The other day i saw a clip where a black woman said "sit your white ass down" nothing was said but i cant imagine the uproar if a white person uded the term black ass down.
The Oxford English Dictionary does not say list Paki as a derogatory term, it is the normal term for people from Pakistan in all the stans, it would be very strange for them to say Pakistani, it is like calling British people Britainish.
Paki slang.
(ˈpɶkɪ)Also Pakki, Pakky.[Abbrev. of Pakistani n. and a.]

Cannot understand why anyone would even own a pit bull. Dangerous bloody dogs give it a good dose of poison.

Your insurance. happened to me.their mother tried to get money off me i was turning left and they tried to undertake. Just threatened to call the police.they went on their way cost me my no claims bonus.thats why i always have 1st class insurance.nobody has a bloody licence over here.lolSeeing as so many underage kids ride motorbikes, would it not be a good idea to issue driving licences starting at say 12 years old when they go to 'big school' , pass a test maybe at school, so that then they can have legal insurance. I hate think the process if a kid drove his bike into my truck and damaged it. Who would pay?
