One of the sweetest 7 year old dogs in the world - FOXY - who has been living on our office street for the past 6 years or so, has been given a week's eviction notice by the hotel at the end of the street for chasing motor-bikes. She has never bitten anyone in her life and never would. She faces a miserable end to her life in the dogs home, at best. Is there anyone who would consider giving her a home...we would but we are too small and have 2 girls already who would kill her. Photos coming later today. Medium size dog. She has had the Op. We are giving a home to her mate Charlie who will be alone on the street.

PUPPY LOOKING FOR A HOME - the little black puppy in the traffic accident last week in Bophut is recovering but has a fractured skull. The vet has to release him tomorrow. He needs 3 weeks peace and quiet. Looks as though we will have to take him and put in crate in back, although I don'y know what ours will think of that. He really needs a good home - shame to release him into the madness of Dog Rescue after all of this. Pics tomorrow, hope someone has a heart and a bit spare room...

English expat seeking lead guitar player and bass player to join band playing covers such as Clash, Joy Division, Bowie, Bauhaus basically English old new wave with some new ones and some originals. Any nationality or sex. Can get you work permit if the right people. Rehearsal room available free. Rehearsals WILL be necessary, this is not a crappy rock'n roll/blues band where you simply turn up and jam. Play twice a month. Paid gigs.

I have the Zoom H4n recorder and it is excellent for recording eg bands. BUT I am finding it impossible to upload to my mac air book. WIth a USB or card. Is there anyone out there who knows how to do this...or suggest someone? I will come to your house/shop wherever!

For 4 years or so we have been feeding Charlie and Foxy. Very good natured, and we have come to love them. But we are likely going to be moving offices soon, and as the nearby hotel barely tolerates them now, I worry about them. I would take them myself but already have 2 in a small area. They are not the youngest but would make great pets.It would have to be both together as one would pine away without the other. I know it is a long shot, they are not puppies, but if anyone is interested I will post their photos or PM me.

Hope this does not flaunt the rules of the site,but, mentioning no names, Samui's finest daffodils, roses, dandelions and frangipanis play the Tuk Tuk bar from 9.00pm....one set originals, one set covers....includes Yingluck Wait For Me, Jamiroquai <deleted>> Off and Die, Patriot, Buy Me Drink Sir, That Tesco Smile....cover set includes Clash, Pistols, Joy Division, Bowie, Iggy, Green Day etc.

I hope those responsible die soon.

Perhaps we could charge 100 baht admission ? I'm up for it. Could get The Flowers of Samui to play if you like, I know the singer.........

I'm not an expert, but looks like a cross between a grey and brown snake. Hope this helps.

[it is indeed The Flowers of Samui playing My Bar on Tuesday...a one-off. They usually play different bars in Bangrak every few weeks.I saw them in the Jimi Hendrix bar in Chaweng a few weeks ago. A mixture of their own stuff with cover versions such as Bowie, Clash, Undertones, Jam, Green Day - even played a Britney Spears song last time! Great energy, certainly nothing else like them in Samui. No chance of them playing the boring old songs mentioned above!

Go to a rock gig (unfortunately not many of them) and meet like-minded NORMAL people. Just so happens one of the best THE FLOWERS OF SAMUI are playing My Bar in Meanam on Tuesday night 4th January....

You are right Ignis - plenty of sexy looking 3 wheelers on the net, but none seemingly available in Thailand. Surely someone makes/sells them, they would I am sure sell very well, especially here in Samui.
