Unwanted SMS might be a some service subscribtion, call 1175 and tell them to block for you.
-
Maybe this will help --> http://www.ais.co.th/3g/apn/APN_setting_Android.pdf

Its sometimes called SMS advertising or Daily sms subscription like news, videos etc.. if found they couldn't understand you on the phone then stop by true shop and have them cancel and block all sms for you.

52003 is 2100Mhz, TH GSM is 900Mhz. If you found network but cant select that, for somehow your phone maynot support HSDPA 2100. and if you sure maybe you can try to replace new SIM with same number. Hope that helps.

You can cancel your voice mail service by dial *141 and follow the prompt. then divert all incoming call when u not available to 081900975 Call Back service. (its the sms alert when someone tried to call you)
-
Maybe you cantact AIS or just email them your number to [email protected] to find out is there any bar SMS or filter sms in this number.
-
After grading 3G2100 your promotion charges will be splited and prorated between old AIS and AIS3G2100 (you simply got new account number with AIS3G2100 and old one got disconnected), you may log in to see more details at https://aiseservice.ais.co.th/eServiceWeb/

you can just bring your dongle and laptop to AIS office to find out, my experience was not that bad, it was just a time my 3G used up.
-
SIM Card would be next step to verify if you have done all troubleshooting. Try Changing new SIM at True shop, maybe this would help.
-
very nice review, ;D

Did you sign up for 3G 2100 SIM? or 9003G SIM? because so far as I know 3G 2100 should be atlease 1Mbps now if your phone support 2100Mhz. Maybe you can contact service center to find out.

AIS SMS center number
One2Call / AIS 3G 2100 1-2-Call : +66818310808 (if you still needed)
-
Yeah, they somehow completed change the way to manage things on their system. I think you can just call them 1175 to find out what packages you're on and how you're charged when connect to 3G.

BB service for 3G 2100 was rolled out last weeks, and this week is now not available. Not sure when this will be back, you can ask them more details [email protected]
-
IF you have ONE2CALL, try upgrade your number to 3G 2.1GHz dial *988 (Passport number is required).

Continuation of headline:
...and blows up the phone in 35 seconds.
Actually this would be a great solution.

If you bring your iPad around where some place got no Wifi hotspot and you gonna stay here for a month, try a small 3G plan with unlimited EDGE of SIM provider, so you don't have to worry about exceeded usage.
-
have you tried to swap the sim to other phone and test sending and receiving some text? or you can call one2call customer care or [email protected] maybe can check something else on your number.
-
hmmm another iphone story.

I thought its Samsung!! like airplane model. - -"

The version I played with was a C6602, so just GSM and 3G (so no LTE).
right, even sony Thai they only got C6602 model. -> https://my.sony.co.th/shopping/th/store/view.aspx?Model=1560
Maybe they think Thai will not goin to hav LTE very soon, so they just sale C6602 only.

If your phone was unlocked before and it used to work with AIS, im sure it would work again. im just thinking that you might need to do the unlocked again, or if you have friends using of SIM provider. Try those SIM wether is working or not. cos Unlocked BB should atleast work with AIS EDGE for sure.
