My AIS 3G 2100 does actually works better.
been testing in a different area after upgraded, bus, BTS, MRT data works great even im on now FUP 64kbps. Listen to radio on iPhone, playing Youtube and video on facebook still great no stupid buffer like the old 3G900. Voice is not bad, got cut off a couple times while im on BTS. If you are now having Smartphone with AIS SIM, you can consider to upgrade.

To be a ble to select 52003 (Network - AIS) you may first need to register to AIS new 3G 2.1GHz. Just simply dial *988 from your phone, system will ask your passport number and you'll get sms back about the result when 3G will be available in your area. I did that, now im on 5203 new 3G a couple days ago, it's super fast but not so stable for some spot.

AIS 3G will officially lauch in Pattaya in May as I heard, but you may need to register for upgrading first.

> You can register your number just dialing *988 from phone or log in AIS eService to do that https://aiseservice.ais.co.th/eServiceWeb/ (If you're using AIS SIM on Tablets or iPad)

I think you can stick with this Dongle, cos it doesn't matter 7.2 Mbps or 21.6 Mbps devices. what will give you reliable speed is a coverage area and your selected package. AIS is currently providing New 3G under 2.1GHz in Pattaya and will officially lauch this for other provinces as well, check out here http://www.ais.co.th/3g/index_area-en.html

Are you interested in Postpay or Prepay?
AIS, they got package for postpay here http://www.ais.co.th/gsmadvance/en/Smartphone_Packages.aspx (Package will be included Voice/SMS/Data)
but if you are still into prepay http://www.ais.co.th/mobileinternet/ais-netsim/aisnetsim-package/ you have to pay seperate for Voice, SMS and data. or you can simply contact AIS Call Center 1175. Hope this helps.

Of cos you can, I recommend Volume based package for Android. Check out package http://www.ais.co.th/mobileinternet/en/internet-package/#2 or you can contact 1175 for more details.
