  1. WHY OH WHY does every little argument have to be 'solved' by violence?!?!? What happened to talking?!? In the worst case, you can agree that you disagree... So, up to someone else (police, judge) to decide, if you continue to disagree...

Violence solves nothing, but makes things only worse....

Yeah, this is Thailand, but this is a worldwide thing... Happens everywhere unfortunately

True, it happens everywhere not only Thailand.

But too many here. There are way more of this kind of happening that doesn't include farangs. Most people here don't know common sense, think or discuss with reason. They don't think ahead. It's all about lack of self-control. All they know is that Mai pen rai applies to everything.

Soon I'm gonna call this place kingdom of animals.

  2. I haven't seen any major flood for the 2nd year in Cm. Nothing serious as other province.

I don't really know about house near doi suthep. Mostly condo's and apartment for students because CMU is right beneath doi suthep.

Good luck on finding some place nice... oh and welcome to CM.

  3. The Japanese are generally a lot more worldly, they have been travelling a lot more, usually more educated and from what i have seen - quite polite in comparison to the loud, pushing in front of you in lines and travelling in herds and following a stick with a flag on it Chinese. But hey!

A trip to kanchanaburi a few years back made me change my tune about the Japanese, as a walked over the Death Railway respectful and remorseful at how many humans had lost their lives there, and had to endure a pack of Japanese with cameras, laughing, posing, shouting and blocking my way as they were - Very Proud! of the history that they were a part of making.... Meh!

Same attitude when they visit the Arizona Memorial at Pear Harbor.

Not so many Japanese people who actually went to war are even alive.

Like I'm responsible for what my great great great great so great grandfather did. Still, everyone should pay respect to historical locations. I'm sorry if those Japanese in the past made you feel uncomfortable on your trip, and i hope you don't feel the same way to the rest of Japanese people. smile.png

  4. Please do not compare Japanese and Chinese. Being Japanese I feel offended lol. We are absolutely different. We only look alike.

    Even that is not true,

Japanese people look completely different from Chinese people.

Even within China the peoples of the different provinces can behave and look very different.

Well not entirely false either. I am occasionally mistaken as Chinese or even Korean.

I've met some Chinese people who look absolutely like Japanese.

People from different provinces look different. << This applies in Thailand as well. -*-

i just said we look similar.
