I believe they only confessed because they were caught.
Those thinking this was just two kids playing around performing stupid and disrespectful pranks after school, how would you like being slapped in your head with slippers.
The age doesn't really matter. Again, country without a clue of common sense and some of you are too kind or too stupid to know.

Stupid and brainless teenagers. I feel sorry for the humiliation that foreigner had to take. Absolutely despicable.
The clip quickly went viral and caused much resentment from local Thais, claiming that the action had tarnished Chiang Mai’s tourism image.
Chiang Mai's tourist image is worth only 500 baht per brainless kid. Can't they think a better way to reeducate these people with no clue of what moral is?

Someone's gonna pay him to keep quite about this matter. Than he'll pay someone else to bring this matter up again.

Blame me... I don't care about the flooding
-
You know those som tam with pond crabs made me go sick for 2weeks. Completely destroyed me.
Soon they're going to prohibit eating bugs. 50 baht fine for Thais eating bugs and 500 baht for foreigners. Selling cooked bugs will send you to 3 years in jail

Rapist is what disgusts me the most. Lowlife scum...Doesn't matter if he's Thai or not. Absolute repugnance

Most important, you need perseverance, endurance, self-control, tolerance and be super open minded or you're gonna explode from the inside out.

WHY OH WHY does every little argument have to be 'solved' by violence?!?!? What happened to talking?!? In the worst case, you can agree that you disagree... So, up to someone else (police, judge) to decide, if you continue to disagree...
Violence solves nothing, but makes things only worse....
Yeah, this is Thailand, but this is a worldwide thing... Happens everywhere unfortunately
True, it happens everywhere not only Thailand.
But too many here. There are way more of this kind of happening that doesn't include farangs. Most people here don't know common sense, think or discuss with reason. They don't think ahead. It's all about lack of self-control. All they know is that Mai pen rai applies to everything.
Soon I'm gonna call this place kingdom of animals.

I think the tourism should be more affected by the way Thai's beat up tourists.
-
What ever the cause of fight, I wouldn't find anything proud in winning a fight such as in the video. Stupid cowards and stupid officials that just can't make better excuse.
-
I understand Thai 95% but they still do it. Thai's don't care how others feel.

I haven't seen any major flood for the 2nd year in Cm. Nothing serious as other province.
I don't really know about house near doi suthep. Mostly condo's and apartment for students because CMU is right beneath doi suthep.
Good luck on finding some place nice... oh and welcome to CM.

What was she thinking in the first place?
She wasn't

Have anyone tried bread from rimping? Are they nice? They lack choice of selection though

I get my bread at Yamazaki. It's located in Air port Plaza G floor near the big fish tank.

The Japanese are generally a lot more worldly, they have been travelling a lot more, usually more educated and from what i have seen - quite polite in comparison to the loud, pushing in front of you in lines and travelling in herds and following a stick with a flag on it Chinese. But hey!
A trip to kanchanaburi a few years back made me change my tune about the Japanese, as a walked over the Death Railway respectful and remorseful at how many humans had lost their lives there, and had to endure a pack of Japanese with cameras, laughing, posing, shouting and blocking my way as they were - Very Proud! of the history that they were a part of making.... Meh!
Same attitude when they visit the Arizona Memorial at Pear Harbor.
Not so many Japanese people who actually went to war are even alive.
Like I'm responsible for what my great great great great so great grandfather did. Still, everyone should pay respect to historical locations. I'm sorry if those Japanese in the past made you feel uncomfortable on your trip, and i hope you don't feel the same way to the rest of Japanese people.

Please do not compare Japanese and Chinese. Being Japanese I feel offended lol. We are absolutely different. We only look alike.
Even that is not true,
Japanese people look completely different from Chinese people.
Even within China the peoples of the different provinces can behave and look very different.
Well not entirely false either. I am occasionally mistaken as Chinese or even Korean.
I've met some Chinese people who look absolutely like Japanese.
People from different provinces look different. << This applies in Thailand as well. -*-
i just said we look similar.

Even if it was possible to make the drunk buy you a new car, I doubt he doesn't have the money to do so.
-
Ridiculous. Can't at least one thing be done right?
Feel sorry for those people who are trapped made ill.
-
My guess is, other Thai's are going to say Mai pen rai to this matter.
