    Thailand is one of the few countries in the world where you can read a "tourists get beaten" story daily in the news. Go on with this and you will soon see tourists numbers plummeting further hopefully lowering the bahts strength and also the real estate prices. Anyway if the foreigners were Israelis than it's okay...

    You surely will be. I found the locals to be much friendlier there but the price/quality of accommodation and food sucks + bad transportation and infrastructure... I love vacationing there but I wouldn't want to live there long time.

    And if you marry a Thai national and want to apply for a spouse visa you need the Thai bank account first with 400.000 baht seasoned for 3 months in it. How are you supposed to open this account if you need the spouse visa first? Amazing Thailand...

    So the Vietnamese sex workers in Nana Soi 4 are a problem but the numerous Burmese restaurant waitresses are highly welcome 555 it shows what's one of the favorite jobs for local women and which one is not.

    Lock down Bangkok! There are too many of them here in Pattaya causing huge traffic problems as their driving skills are usually very bad 😉

    Very spot on! I think the news reasoning and also the changed attitude of the Thais towards us because of the daily stupid news has a lot to do why tourists decide not to visit Thailand anymore...

    I have been and stayed longer periods of time in most of the Thai tourist towns. In my opinion Pattaya has the least rain and when it's raining it has a lot of options of things to do while raining.
