Lived in Thailand for 20 yrs, upon returning to the UK. I really felt like a dirty heathen using paper. I had to get a bum gun from Lazada sent here. Now I look at my family and friends strangely knowing full well that they aren’t as clean as me.

It’s an inanimate object that didn’t fall anywhere. It got to where it is because of human interaction

You just can’t help stupid, why on earth would anyone want to grow something that’s very attractive to elephants next to an elephant sanctuary. If we debated the intelligence of the two species, guess after much consideration who’d come out on top.

I wonder how many companies are called “Narac” in Thailand. Quite a popular name is all I’m saying

Everyone likes to have an opinion. So the crane is mobile, therefore it can only be the operator’s fault for sitting the crane in an unsuitable area. The land wouldn’t have subsided if the crane wasn’t there. But trying to get a Thai own up to a mistake is neigh on impossible, they will blame the nearest inanimate object. Ie flip flops under the pedal.

Where does being unable to react quickly when something adverse happens on the road, then braking & lose complete of your own vehicle causing it to spin constitute good driving. The mind boggles. Of course TIT

I do wish reporting standards could be improved. Lampposts are inanimate object’s, they do nothing. However the hapless lorry driver did impale his own vehicle upon the concrete posts. And as sure eggs are eggs will wholeheartedly believe that it’s the concrete post’s fault.

As per the full article, it seems as if the pickup has pulled out without looking, and the bike has hit it.
Bike has racing mods, suspension, tyres etc, so we can assume it was not being driven in a careful or proper manner either.
And... the carnage continues.
My son altered his lights on his bike, so I smashed them up with a hammer. If one installs core values at a young age, just possible they might live a little longer. Not putting the blame on anyone. But if kids aren’t taught they won’t know

So sad how one Buddhist nation can do that to another Buddhist nation. GREED. Shame on the human race.

You didn’t state what nationality you are. I’m English & two years ago I got a replacement for a soon to be expired one, via the “Tandy Building “ within a week. Service was quicker in BKK than in London.

I have great empathy for your dilemma. Please remember that the bank locked the account because the wrong password was used more than once, to protect you. If you opened up a new account & transferred the funds from the old account to the new account & passwords saved hopefully problem solved. Banks are different & people are different. In my experience (for what it’s worth) SCB is far more helpful than Bangkok Bank ever was. Good luck.

Eugh, annoying.
I was able to get the electric set up by installing the MEA SmartLife app. I can't pay through the App, but once I pull the billing info into it, the balance becomes available in SCB to pay online.
Wavel, will they let me set up a DD if it's not in my name? If so, where do I start, at my bank or at MWA?
What happens if I don't pay the bill on time? (There's a one week payment window.) I assume the water gets cut off at some point, but is that immediate, or is there a fine or something first?
(The problem I've got is that I may have to travel soon, and it's going to be really awkward if I have to plan it around when the water bill is due because I have no way to pay without the physical bill.)
Sorry for the late reply. Go to MWA wth your bill& ID ask for DD form take it to the bank & set up DD from their end, get the form stamped by the bank, then take the stamped form back to MWA for them to finish setting up the DD. Job done

So predictable, it was the GPS at fault. Not the fact that the driver had a overloaded truck. Difficult for Thai’s to take responsibility for their own actions.

Deliberately misleading. Hiding the human figure guiding the animals trunk......Why not show us a video of an unattended elephant with the materials doing what IT wants.
Have you Petertheeater never witnessed for yourself elephants painting. This one is being taught. I swear blind you could see the concentration in the elephants eyes that painted ALONE the painting hanging on my wall

How about Direct Debit ?. A bit convoluted I know setting up, going back & forth between WMA and the bank with forms that need rubber stamping. But then you never need to think about it again. Same for all utilities
