And it's not long back, that Thailand was anouncing that it was one of the World leaders in medical care..... Hmmmm

Totally agree Dave Austin,, I used to visit Thailand 3-4 times a year for a 5 week stay each time, and always came during December & January, however this year I went to Antigua, simple entry procedure, must be fully vaccinated, PCR test 72 hours before boarding, temperature check on arrival in the airport,, hey bingo that's it, None of the silly games that Thailand wants to play...

And probably 60% of travellers are saying the same about visiting Thailand,, its just not worth the hassle and all the hoops to jump through,, if you don't believe me, look at some the blogs on Facebook, TripAdvisor, etc, etc,

The Country is corrupt from top to bottom, and always will be...

Hmmm, no doubt the Saudi Arabs will be the saviour of Thailands tourists in the future...... Like in previous years stating, Indians, Chinese, Russian, we're going to save Thailands tourism...

Totally agree,, I'm a UK citizen, and the UK were and still are reporting true figures of covid infections, and recently reported over 200,000 in one day, unfortunately due to this corect reporting, other Countries put the UK on there Red lists,, Thailand has never reported the true infection rate during the pandemic...

I note the good Doctor wants his 5 minutes of fame again, never heard of him before this pandemic...

Folks are not going to go on holiday, and be dictated of where they have got to stay for 7 days, ie Samui, Krabi, Koh tao, etc, etc, Either open the Country or close the borders and become like North Korea...

Good news if Test & Go I to be re-introduced,, but at the same time they must lift some of the other restrictions, like opening up the entertainment industry,, there's not many people I know want to go on holiday, and have to return to there Hotel at 9pm....

It's not covid 19 that's causing all the stress and depression amongst Thai people...... It's the Government which is doing that with all the BS they are doing to the nation...

These Guy's are more crazy than I thought, don't they realise that the Omicron civid 19 Is already in Thailand and spreading through the population,, by stopping new arrivals will do nothing to stop the spread of Omicron...

Absolutely ridiculous..... Toys for the boys.... But not prepared to spend money to help all the failed business due to the pandemic and lack of tourist, My thought is because its still a Military run Government they are spending as much money on hardware before they are elected out....
