All this would possibly never have happened, if there wouldn't be such an insane tax policy on imported goods, specially on cars. Which local industry shall be protected with this B.S. tax, as there is no such similar product produced locally ?

Traffic rules don't consider real ( bigger ) bikes in this country, as a number of bridges, underpasses or highways are banned for them.
Feel like 3rd class people on a 1st class bike, mxxxxx

It rains in rainy season, what a surprise. And every year same same, whatever Government tries to run the country.

Riding a big bike in this country myself I KNOW that the majority of the car drivers has no clue about how fast a bike approaches and even if, they just <deleted> ignore it, as it is only a bike and they sit in a more important car, specially Fortuna and Hilux - drivers love to do so.
Maybe they guy was too fast on his Kawa but the highest risk for bikers in this country are the car drivers.

Good Luck to her. Hope she is doing better than many of her male colleagues, who unfortunately frequently <deleted> up my car.

Correct, this is the only smart way to do business without investing a lot.
When I find all these stupid people who are not smart enough to understand that paying a rent for a house AND for a shop is so retarded, without speaking about how difficult it is to manage your private life and at the same time as your business when they are not located at the same premise, I feel pity for them.
So, the rest of the world is retarded but Thailand ? I personally would never like to live above my business in a 3 story shophouse with part wise windowless rooms and steep stairs you need to walk up and down. I prefer to be a stupid farang in this case

I do have some sympathy with the Taxi drivers. Uber has depended on your view either revolutionised or destroyed the taxi industry wherever it plies its trade.
Whatever your opinion the drivers end up much worse off. I think the balance in Pattaya now is pretty good. The number of baht busses has been greatly reduced, routes and prices are clearly defined If you want to hire a taxi the rules are the same as anywhere else in the world, agree a price you are both happy with before you start your journey.
I understand things could be better and the yellow taxis should have meters that are working all the time.
On the whole I think Pattaya does a pretty good job with their taxis. Keep things the same.
Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa ConnectSorry, but this is BS. In the civilized world you don't have to agree on the fare, as it is stipulated through a government controlled meter.
Same price for everybody and no rip offs by the mob.

The whole project is a complete f*** up from the day they stated digging
