I personally stay at the Citadines Mount Sophia only because the company pays but I have mates who like the hotel81.

I am not a big fan of Malaysia so my vote would be Singapore.

Last thing if you are a smoker read the rules you can only bring in one pack I believe.

It would be nice if they showed the interior of the bus and also show pictures of the cargo hold or do passengers have space on board like many buses and trains offer. I personally dislike the cargo hold when passengers are on/off at multiple stops I'm worried someone will nick my luggage.

I don't see that is a good fare, almost $600.00 more than Air Canada, just on one quick look... from YVR to BKK...

Several other airlines would probably have better prices too...

It's for their premium product which is fairly decent I've heard. Air Canada oh offers Executive first and economy.

T21 looks like its in the best spot. But its not really a great performing retail mall if you have a small business/shop. I had a part share in a shop on the 3rd floor (in the first year) and the feeling from most of the tenets is that they want to move on. The Thai people with money need the convenient parking. In my opinion its only the Supersized Malls that bring in the bucks.

That is what was in the back of my mind how do they survive at terminal 21 I see traffic but not many holding bags with merchandise, I did see a few empty shoppes at Terminal 21 but nothing like Gateway. I felt sad after leaving that clearly so many small retailers lost a small fortune in Gateway. I was always under the impression if you were connected to a sky bridge/bts mall from newly weds to nearly deads would flock to the mall and you would be more or less guaranteed decent returns.

My interest in the matter is I'm looking to buy along the BTS and I'd like to have access to a decent mall.

I visited the mall shortly after it opened and it seemed decent enough, just returned and the place is empty. On the upper floors the place is half empty, they've even closed off the toilets. Most shoppes have closed and have rental signs everywhere, even the food court was empty empty at lunch time on a Friday.

Terminal 21 packed all hours of the day and Gateway a ghost town, any idea why?

A couple of ideas try chilli powder or cinnamon they hate the taste, also pick up some cheap moth balls the smell puts them off. As a last resort perhaps get a piece of styro foam and attach nails so they are pointing up and try to place them where they perch.

Didn't they add birth control drugs to their feed in London some years back to control the problem ??

You do realise you can whip cream by hand ? it's a bit of a procedure but I love it and add sugar before it leaks wonderful stuff. A side note if you whip it for a long time it becomes butter which is better than any store bought butter IMHO

I believe insurers don't provide coverage because the carries under the Warsaw Convention offer a vey very basic policy based on kilos and value up to a certain amount. Perhaps ring the carrier directly and query their offering for high value goods.

Hello All,

Quick question, how many Visa on Arrivals am I permitted traveling by air ? I realise it's 30 day permission with each entry and 15 by land.

I'm fortunate I get greatly reduced fares on Star Alliance airlines as an airline employee and would like to spend a couple of months in Thailand, I'm aware of tourist visas and land visa runs I don't mind doing a monthly flight to KUL or SIN as the cost is almost free and I like airports and airport food Lol.

Will I be stopped after two or three?
