  1. Those crazy Italians, giving their Italian bike an Italian name.wink.png

    Like the Ducati Monster? wink.png

From what I recall, the original 848 superbike has 849 cc's.

The old S2r1000 had 998 c's. The old Ducati 1098 ridden in WSB had almost 1200 cc's, which was later changed to Ducati 1198.

What Ducati puts on the side of their bikes often doesn't add up.

    News Flash!

Ducati have announced a new middleweight sportsbike aimed at the growing female rider market in Latin America.

The Ducati Putana will be introduced in 2014.

  2. Well, here we go again....ALL the anti gun idiots who know everything about everything when it comes to crime but can't see the reality in front of them. It's people and society that's the cause of all issues. People kill people! People are the cause for whatever screwed reason they have. Guns just don't go out by thenselves and go off. Not do cars hit other cars or people and kill by themselves. Human intervention did this. It's so easy to blame an inanimate object and thr human. Wants some statics? Here you go. And you need to follow all the links ad sources before you run off at the mouth saying they are lies. I even helped you out by listing a couple of the links.

Point is, even in countries who "ban" guns, gun crimes are up! And surprisingly in the US, gun crimes are down. So argue away.

yeah yeah, say it again maybe it will make sense. If a child has no access to a gun, it cant shoot anyone.

is that so hard to understand?

  3. it would seem there are those who live in fear and are afraid to go out or those who never seem to stay home (2.5 years at a concert a day plus an additional 3+months of fair going -- impressive numbers indeed).

I suppose it depends on the type of life you chose to lead and what you are about.

i can tell you one thing, it wont be me behind the keyboard telling people its not safe to go outside.

As for that "dangerous cocktail" of thai males and drink -- the most heinous of unprovoked violence i have encountered have been males indeed, but race has vareid.

  4. bash on 11, but music is <deleted> since daryl left

Hear, hear !! Daryl knew how to run the music at that joint.

Think they've got a German running it now . . . figures, really

Saves me from myself on the way home. I know there is no point in going in and walk on past.

  5. I've only ever had 2 massages in Thailand.

    1. the female tried to grope me.

    2. the male tried to grope me.

Neither incident was in a private room.

I avoid massages as I don't like being groped, and certainly am not going to pay to be groped.

In this case, who can tell what happened, her word against an unconscious and beaten man who may, or may not have been drunk at the time.

Obviously your choice of venue is questionable, since very rarely do masseurs/masseuses initiate any extra curricular activities unless they are receiving overt signals from the customer.

Many massage shops, be they 'legitimate' or ??? will allow their staff the discretion to provide "some extras".

I seriously doubt this woman is lying and given the Thai male's penchant for physical abuse, I believe her.

Massage 1. was in a respectable and well known place in CM, no curtains, my Thai gf was in the bed next to me.

Massage 2. was a respectable and well known establishment outside a well known CM temple, no curtains, about 20 floor mats alongside each other, again a lady friend was on the mat next to me.

No need to bad mouth Thai males, they are as good and as bad as every other nationality.

About 50% of massages in Thailand involve the opportunity for naughtiness, no matter what the establishment.

    this is rich.

you base your opinion on a total of 2 massages, yet the statistic you provide does not jibe with your personal experience.

  6. My wife says 'mun keeow' often to me. This means something like I could just eat you up.

I say it to babies too.

thats different though, i always thought of it as a phrase, dont know the spelling, but seems to be pronounced differently

  7. @GirlDrinkDrunk, I dont think of bar owners in anything even vaguely resembling a 'nice guy' light, but then I dont think of *anyone* who makes a living selling alcohol as a saint - at the very least, it means contributing to a myriad of health issues and domestic dramas. The fact that bar owners in Thailand accept a fee for ladydrinks and barfines in the Farang bars in Thailand simply reflects the reality that anyone who doesnt have a bar 'stocked' with attractive women is unlikely to get a whole lot of business unless they have something else to offer. In Bangkok bars, that might well be the standard of food available to patrons, but building yet-another-Irish-pub looks like a recipe for insolvency to me. Every attractive staff member that leaves the bar is one less to entice other punters into your bar - that's just the way it is.

Go to one of the freelancer bars in Cambo and it's clear that the bar owners completely understand the importance of having 'available' women in his bar, even if some of his customers have zero interest in their services and he isn't being paid each time one of the girls leaves the bar. Similarly, bars on Jalan P Ramlee in KL make an extortionate amount of money charging an arm and a leg for drinks yet still have the cheek to charge Thai and Fili working girls cover charge if they don't get their butts into the bar by the time they set the cash register up out the front. I don't know what it costs to buy into one of those bars (millions of Ringgit would be my guess..) but from the outside they look like a licence to print money, barring any future crackdown from the religious right. An endless stream of attractive girls from countries outside Malaysia and absolutely no legal liability for having them parked in your bar, night after night - worst case, they get deported and your bar reverts to being just another late-night watering hole. Similarly, many of the 5-star hotels in Jakarta seem to have no problem with their bars doubling as a workplace for Ayam - technically, I see that as profiting from prostitution.

When you look at the way others make (serious) money from the girls, Shark's efforts seem pretty pathetic by comparison.

(Edit: none of this is an endorsement for bars that simply operate as a haven for freelancers, but if I had the option of investing part of my retirement savings in one of those KL bars it would be very hard to resist, assuming said offer was genuine and I could function as a completely 'silent' partner.)

that was my point, to decry this guy for pimping ignores the myriad pimps out there making money off sex workers.

as i said, it would seem morality is a movable feast, though hypocrisy would be a more accurate term.

Perhaps its the tats that offend.

anyways i am more interested in the shills on this thread driving people to the "sharks" website.

this is self promotion pure and simple and the louder the objection the better the exposure.

say what you will, the man aint stupid

  8. Many expats, and what have you, let themselves go over here for whatever reason. Some of these older dudes have really long hair on their arms and legs. Wax or shave that stuff off semi-annually at least, unless you want to become a walking carpet!

Another thing is the many fat dudes that never work out and kind of shuffle along slowly usually. Their stamina sexually and otherwise must be through the floor!

How do they maintain confidence as a man walking with a petite thai lady?

I guess when it becomes unmanageable it's easier to just deny it and continue drinking rather then think about it. How many farts around here have even been to a gym over here or have some kind of exercise equipment?

I could care less what immigration thinks, not sure why you brought that up. It's about keeping yourself together, not other people.

were you born retarded or is it the supplements?
