I was I believe a "high end" customer for many years. I recently moved from bkk to chonburi area and wanted simply to transfer my "membership" and upgrade to HD and a few other options.

Ten emails later I abandoned the idea.

They kept insisting that I show them utility bills of the new address, which I own.

The TOT bills were sent to my BKK address, elec bills issued by management

I asked if a letter from the management could suffice, all I got was repeated requests for utility bills.

I began to believe that either a poor computer program was responding to select phrases, or they had outsourced customer service to Tajekistan.

So I'm a few thousand baht better off per month. Find great amusement on ThaiVisa (schadenfreude mostly) and can with some preparation even find EPL on the "hundreds of channels" now available at about 15% of True's cost.

Since the cable guy often switches the channels around, I need to surf to find Aljazeera.

During the surfing I am forced to frequently wonder "who on earth watches such drivel" ?, especially "Dog the Bounty Hunter".

I note also that the sums of money swindled out of US Citizens in "American Greed", is astonishing, apparently intelligent people with hundreds of thousands of dollars and often millions invest in the most transparent frauds..are they the same people sending money for sick buffalos.?

What odds might a bookmaker give on the veracity of the story.?

Headed out to the Japanese engine shop, don't think I found it, but tiny shop with monster SKF sign on the roof had them at 120 baht, and also drew an excellent map to a place nearby. Job done in 5 minutes. charge 20 Baht..I gave him Baht100.

My budget was well over a 1000 baht, before buying a new unit.

I have been asked to finance an addition to an existing shack, not conjoined but seperate. Apparently as a secure bedroom.

All that is required is a solidly built room (bricks, breeze ??). one entry door, two windows, tiled floor and a flat roof.

Floor area approx 3 x 3 metres. No plumbing is asked for,

Elec probably just a cable to a power point, and fluorescent light.

I guess some cladding on the interior walls would be good.

Can anyone kindly give a ball park for materials only please ?

Got nothing for you in Pattaya, but in BKK, I'd go to Chinatown.

One question may help zero in on an answer: Is this a high speed, high quality bearing, or can it just be a normal, production bearing. If you need a close tolerance (ABEC 5 or better) bearing, that rules out most local shops I know.

My suggestion is to look for a hobby shop, but again, I'm no help in Pattaya.

Not High speed, 10 km/hour with a 100 mm dia wheel. some rpm calcs for someone.

My child has an expensive toy, and one of the wheels, the only one with ball bearings,needs them replaced.

The OD is about 22mm an ID 8mm

I would like to find a workshop that can source the bearings (2) and replace them.

Cost is not a problem

I always retrieve the selt belt when there is one, often have to use my knife to cut thro the cable ties.

I think the only ones that are free are those I released previously.

The locals are indifferent to their use, I suppose 'cos there are always thingys dangling or placed in front that overcome the laws

Going through the detailed steps for my will, I happened to meet a guy, who told me that a best friend had died without leaving a known will. Upon a search, a will in English only was found, leaving his house and car to the guy.

The will was deemed to be valid and the guy got the property in relatively short order.

I believe him, but conspiracy theorists make what you can.

Yesterday at 5.30 am along Expressway 7. raining and dark, at 80km'hour, the minibus driver started to scroll through his cellphone pix to show and discuss with the passenger alongside him. As usual like most drivers he was too close to vehicle in front.

I remonstrated with him in sign language, and he grumpily put the phone away.
