Dr. Warin in Pattaya charges 30,000 baht.
He doesn't use Straumann implants, but some Korean made brand. Is his implant brand good quality or as good quality as Straumann?

If I have made a re-entry into Thailand meaning it's the 2nd time I've entered on a DTV, do I really need to lodge a TM30 notifying my address and later on doing a 90 day report if I will be leaving Thailand in about 3.5 months time, and I have no other need to go to use Jomtien Immigration during this time? Will this pose any issues or fines later on for my 3rd entry if I need to use Jomtien Immigration after the 3rd entry?
FYI, I've already done a TM30 and 90 day reporting on my 1st entry because I needed to get a Certificate of Residency and yes, I know it makes no difference for the 2nd time as it's a brand new entry.

The charge is correct.
Out of interest you could run it by border run companies in Pattaya.
Think result will be same.
It's not the minivan run companies upping the cost.
It's "service fee" at border.
You could consider a mini break using flights.
No, it's the one by 1st Class Visa Runs on Soi 6.

The OP obtained his DTV via e-Visa platform.
The extension is handled by Thai immigration.
Different mobs.
The in person chat I had with a young UK guy who just obtained his DTV as digital nomad had to provide the items listed as required by immigration office.
He indeed had an employer in UK and was able to satisfy the requirements.
Good luck with him getting an extension. 99% of people are required to do border bounces, by the looks of things and the chats with immigration.

What proof of a company and employment did you show when you got the initial DTV ?
Wouldn't the criteria be the same to get an extention ?
Employment contract.
No, the criteria isn't the same for an extension. Gave them the same employment contract, but they want it with a stamp. Also, they require a position profile and that they also want stamped. And other documentation as additional requirement too.

Why? If you have the right documents and are working remotely, why would you be surprised? Are you suprised about everyone else getting a DTV as well?

Why are van companies charging way more for DTV border bounces? The Soi 6 Queen Victoria Inn would normally charge 3,900 baht but for a DTV they charge 5,700 baht. They said since it's a 180 day visa, the border officials require more money. Are all you who have border bounced with a DTV also been charged way more than a normal border bounce person on a visa exempt or SETV/METV?

Went to Jomtien Immigration to extend my DTV. Had all the documents that was required based on the sheet of listed documents the front ladies gave me a month ago. Front desk ladies checked my documents. All was ok. She said that she would take me to the Desk 1 where they will check it again, but sometimes they require more documents and doing a border bounce is better. Went to Desk 1, they checked the documents. They weren't happy with the documents submitted. Wanted to have a company stamp on my work contract & position profile, even though there's no such thing for my company. They said it's needed. They also asked where is the office of my company. Since the company is based from home with no office, and also no international offices, an extension can't be done. Also they asked for the website of my company, which there is none. Seems you must work for an international company with many international locations and have a website to get an extension. They said I should border bounce as most applicants can't get extensions. What a waste of time.

When doing a DTV border bounce either via air (BKK) or land border crossing, do you need to have 20k cash and return flight ticket just in case they ask you? Do people get rejected entry if they don't have this on them?

You should have security on your phone also, so it's at least 2 level
I did, by having banking apps in Secure Folder. But now it's impossible with Krungsri as they give that stupid message and won't let the app load in Secure Folder. Now the App has to sit out in the open.

It isn't better security when all that's required to access your banking app is just to know the 6 digit PIN. If they would allow you to install it in Secure Folder, at least there's a way of having the app behind another level of security, but this seems to be not allowed anymore. With computer online access, nobody can access your account without knowing both your username and password and also having access to your OTP via SMS, this is way better security.

Krungsri online website is here: https://www.krungsri.com/en/personal
... in the upper right corner will be a 'sign in'. There is also a place in upper right corner where language can be changed to 'english'.
However, they are about to stop that service for new users. I just went to their web site and i received this notification (copy & paste):
Krungsri would like to inform you that the Bank will stop accepting new customer registrations for Krungsri Online service starting April 22, 2025. Existing customers can continue to use the service as usual.
My Thai wife tells me SCB have also canceled their computer online access.
SCB cancelled computer online access for all customers or only new customers?

On a slightly related topic I notice that Krungsri will not be giving new customers access to their website Krungsri Online with effect from the end of April.Existing customers can carry on using the site.
I wonder what is going on.I hardly use the website because I can deal with all my banking needs on the Krungsri mobile app.Is the long term objective for banks to only offer banking services on their mobile apps which I understand have better security specifications?
How do you access Krungsri Online via a web browser to use internet banking? A couple of years ago when I asked, they said that there's only the App that we can use. Do I need to go to the branch again and ask them to give me access to it?

Yes I had the same problem, I was worried maybe it was my windows/PC connect, or a virus. Did McAfee scan everything ok. Installed on my non secure folder and it was able to work . But I still had to go to bank and have them give some permission like digital ID verification or something. Works fine now but still won't in secure folder.
Yes, that's exactly the same for me. Won't load in Secure Folder anymore without getting that error. Installed out in the open and it loads fine, but then needed to go to the bank with passport, Bankbook and phone number in their system to receive OTP. They filled in some form then could set it up again on the phone outside Secure Folder. Sucks as had waste over an hour in the bank for no reason. No customers in the bank, but took so long to go see them at the counter. Pissed me off. Dealing with them in-person is a horrible waste of time. And it sucks that you can't have the App in Secure Folder anymore by the looks of it. They want the App out of Secure Folder so it's less secure and available to anyone who has your phone unlocked. Secure Folder gives and added layer of security for banking apps, but this seems it can't be done anymore with Krungsri.

Does your phone still receive regular security updates? It could be that it is so old that Samsung is no longer providing enough security for the bank to be comfortable.
Yes, it's a Samsung Galaxy S22 and receives regular updates.

I had a similar case with SCB app last year. In my case it was Kaspersky Security. You have to disable all other apps able to read or interfere in banking apps. You should check out settings, security/permissions.
I don't have any antivirus or security software. I don't think there are any apps that are interfering with the banking apps. My Kbank app has always worked fine and is still working fine. Only Krungsri app is having this problem.

Do you use any anti virus i
No, I have my banking apps all installed in Samsung's Secure Folder and never had a problem. I just tried installing Krungsri app into the normal place, and it loads fine, but then I need to setup the account again and go into the bank for them to set it up again because it doesn't let me do it myself.

I'm on a Samsung Galaxy phone running Android. Krungsri App has always worked fine for me. Yesterday I had a forced "update your app via Google Play store to continue using the app". After updating it, and trying to start the app, I keep getting the following error pop up. Is anyone else also getting this error and how to fix this so my App will load up?
It's now saying:
UNABLE TO PROCEED DUE TO SECURITY POLICY. PLEASE AVOID SCREEN RECORDING, USING REMOTE CONTROL APPLICATIONS, OR ACCESSING KMA KRUNGSRI APP ON A ROOTED/JAILBROKEN DEVICE.
But my decide is not rooted or jailbroken, I'm not using screen recording or remove control applications. So why am I getting this message pop up in a web browser when trying to start the app?

Russian guy have just extended DTV in Pattaya
Documents:
Statement for the last month with minimum 500k at any given day and a list of transactions.
Current balance statement, dated TODAY - as in the submission day.
Condo/house rental contract
Electricity payment slip
Rental payment slips
Employment contract
And Statement from employer that you are currently employed
TM 30, TM 47
1900 THB

Copy of passport pages: ID + visa + entry stamp
There are a few differences between what Jomtien Immigration's list of documents required for a DTV extension was given to me today and what the Russian guy said. Please see attached the required documents. As you can see, it's quite an extensive list and it's different from what other provinces require. Why does each province have different document requirements for extensions? Also, Jomtien has said again (last time was for METV extensions) that you can only extend a DTV 7 days prior to stamp expiry. This was the same requirement that was previously set for METV that only 7 days prior you were allowed to extend METVs.
Seems that a border bounce would be easier, as if you are only allowed 7 days prior, you may get rejected then need to scramble as you will only have a few days left to organise a border bounce. Regarding border bounces, are you allowed to go and come back the same day on a DTV and does it matter if you border bounce via air or via a van company?

OP, good report from this guy (Phuket) however you have seen that as you posted in that thread.
My guess is that most folk are doing border runs.
Is your DTV online work?
Yes, online work

Someone told me is better to do a border bounce for the DTV extension. Immigration wants to see too many documents, so stressful
Border run to Cambodia and back the same day via a van to Ban Pakkard? I'd rather avoid the hassle and wasted time of an uncomfortable border run if it's possible to extend at Jomtien.
DTV Border Bounce from Pattaya via van - 5,700 baht. Why are DTV border bounces more costly?

How do you get the boarding pass for these cheap flight tickets to come back without clearing immigration of the country you visit? The airline check-in desk which issues boarding passes are located in the outside section of the airport.
Also, the cheapest flight tickets are at least 3.5k, plus 2k for the car to and from Pattaya, plus meals at the airport. Already makes it the same price or more than a visa run van. Not to mention it'll take double the amount of time too.
