Pattaya brings out the best in people.
Thats right Mike, never happens anywhere else at 3.30 in the morning with a bellyful of beer.
Have you bothered reading the rest of the news in today's 'Thailand Live?'

Maj. Gen. Siriwat explained, "The Attorney General will now assess whether the evidence warrants further legal action. Should there be sufficient grounds, an arrest warrant will be issued, and Interpol notified to issue a Red Notice."
They said they did that for Red Bull, but no one ever saw the notice.

AN loves these types which is why their posts get highlighted and pushed to the front of the "popular" posts.
They probably generate them, no one is that big of a loser.

You’ll hear things about big property investments, past business empires, crypto wins, or some project they’re “about to launch.” But then you notice they’re living in cheap rentals, don't spend much, and seem to have an unusual amount of free time.
Maybe they’re just harmless storytellers trying to impress others. Or maybe there’s more to it. This kind of fake posturing could also damage the reputation of the broader foreign community, especially for those who live quietly, play by the rules, and don’t cause problems.
And you have to wonder, how often does this kind of behavior spill over into trouble? Are these the same types who overstay visas, run shady hustles, perpetrate scams or leave unpaid bills behind? Or is it all just empty talk from people who want to feel important?
You must have come across or at least heard of this type of expat in Thailand...
Are you able to have a conversation, or do you just prefer to start topics each day so people notice you?
How do you get by each day in Thailand? Judging by the amount of questions you keep asking you do seem pretty clueless about the place, did you travel here alone or did someone have to hold your hand?

NOT "stuck" but Laos and Cambodia have problems that Thailand doesn't even though they are cheaper. I can go back to the USA anytime I please but I have no family there and costs are too high to live on a retirement income. The term "stuck" implies that there are no options. There ARE options but they are worse than Thailand.
All in all life is good then!
Many dont have the opportunity such as you have for improving their lives.

You are wrong.
Marijuana use causes violent behavior through increased aggressiveness, paranoia, and personality changes (more suspicious, aggressive, and anger).
Furthermore, the consumption of marijuana is associated with an increase in violent behavior over the course of an individual’s lifespan, a high risk of psychosis for frequent users, an increase of cardiovascular diseases, and deterioration in health for individuals who have pre-existing mental health issues such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, social anxiety, and depression [4,5,6].
According to research studies, marijuana use causes aggressive behavior, causes or exacerbates psychosis, and produces paranoia. These effects have been illustrated through case studies of highly publicized incidents and heightened political profiles.
Enjoy a little tipple on occasion do you Mike?

Easy.
Rubbish, the sheer volume of motorbikes alone makes it more difficult.

I would not spend one extra day here if I could live anywhere else. Most of us are here because it's

Imagine you're still in your home country. How would you feel about immigrants - whose culture of drink, drugs, casual sex with your female relatives and generally arrogant behaviour you find fairly abhorrent - getting the same benefits as you?
What, like the immigrant grooming gangs raping women in the UK you mean?
