Thais do kiss. I've just finished a 6 month relationship with a housekeeper 5 years older than me. She will only admit to three Thai ex-husbands and a perevious farang boyfriend. But then again, I only admitted to two previous Thai GFs.

so this wasn't a working girl and she never asked for money but also never objected to ANY sexual position. So on this subject, I think the girl doesn't like you if she refuses to kiss. That is a universal sign of love and according to experience and what I've read, Thais are less restraint than westerners sexually.

If this thread is not real, there are several real stories like this. and I have no sympathy for the guys. I know I'm not the only one that has been treated by a girl from some other farang's money. I was with one girl in Pattaya and she was text messaging a guy in England, "I'm so loney, when you come back?". I play the game.

on the first day I did some "What's your name?" questions, both personally and get two students to stand. It wasn't always successful but it's better than jumping into a lesson on the first day.

Don't budge to their shyness. Stay on the particular student(s) until they answer the questions or do the assignment. You will be tested. For me all I think is, "This is what I have to do to be in Thialand." Nothing phases me after that.

getting the visa won't be the problem. enjoy your roller coaster ride. I'm sure she's different though.

I go all the time. I've never had an ugly moment with a Thai guy anywhere. And on this subject, they encourage me to spend the night with their ladies.

I usually go alone. But one recent time I brought a new teacher to town and ladies were turning down his requests to sit with him (even for money) but not me. What an ego boost. But the women aren't as nice as they are in beer bars.

You seem to only want to go to the commercial places. I've been here for one year and I just point at a map then decide, "I'm there". every place has booze and women dude. This is Thailand.

I just started teaching M1-3 after one year at a university. They don't understand shit! But my Thai vocab is as good as theirs are and there are Thai teachers that come in and hit them with sticks if they misbehave.

be really slow when talking and teaching. very slow.

and to drummer, don't expect any teaching material. and if you do get material, it won't be good. it will be too advanced or written by a Thai with errors all over the place. You gotta come up with your own stuff.

first of all stop thinking about revenge. you can't win. the number of people that I know sought revenge and fatally lost almost rival the number of homicide victims I personally knew in L.A.

the guy who made this thread is not me. I am 25 from L.A. and June 1 will be my one year anniversary here. I now live in Phayao. I appear to be the only farang here.

I never have expectations of anything, so I am always satisfied with my life. I'm not looking for a wife or business ownership so that eliminates almost all the problems I could ever face.

also be aware that scams are common. you are sounding she is in the UK right now and you might be in Thailand. You will buy the property but she will farm on it? Thai females abroad are still misleading. You may have known this person for years, but so did the other people that fell victim to false Isaan sales. I have personally met people...one guy who had a girlfriend of three years who paid for property he didn't investigate. She did go back to him but disappeared. He did a paid investigation and found out the property didn't exist and she was doing this to other guys she was in long term relationships with.

I also know a 77 year old expat who built a house for a lady then a man popped-up and said, "I am her husband and this is my property."

I don't know how well you know this person but I remember Thai people in my hometown L.A. were still up to their tricks (legal extortion).

Don't trust anybody of any race. This country is no different.

I'll give you my input. I stayed on Soi Post Office next to all the important action in S. Pattaya. The Soft Rock Cafe was 350 baht a night.

Got there and was stocked to see an ocean. Then I got closer and it was less attractive. When night time came I saw what Pattaya was really for.

I'll save those stories for barladies.com. so moral of the story is don't go to Pattaya for the beach. Goto one of the Koh's. white sand and clear water. However, Hat Rin has been known to have puke, shit and semen floating around.

This topic offends me! I've been in CR for 9 months! I love the lack of tourists. That increases my stock. And for those of you that say there is nothing, I pity you.

why compare and contrast places? I lived in CM 5 years ago and I m disappointed how there are more buildings, pollution and tourists like you. CR is an unspoilt gem. This is the real Thailand. I'm glad the bumbling pot bellies never make it up this far.

I don't like western food. I've gone three years without a burger, Ajarn! oh, and I used to be American. I don't even know who won the election (but I did absentee vote )
