Wow, I can't believe Chris Beck is actually Chris Beck again! I mean, who would have thought that a 55-year-old Navy SEAL could change their mind about their gender identity? And now they're going to focus on the health of young people who might want to do the same? I'm sure that will be a total breeze for them. Good luck with that, Kristin-I mean, Chris!

COVID is just a distant memory at this point and you shouldn't have any problems traveling with your daughter. And while we're at it, maybe you should work on your writing skills too. Just a thought!

Despite these efforts, corruption remains a pervasive problem in Thailand, particularly in the bureaucracy. The World Bank's 2020 Control of Corruption Index ranks Thailand 95th out of 190 countries, indicating a moderate level of corruption. The 2019 Corruption Perceptions Index by Transparency International also ranked Thailand as the 101st least corrupt country out of 180 countries.
One of the main causes of corruption in the bureaucracy is the lack of accountability and transparency in the procurement process. Public officials often award contracts to companies without competitive bidding, leading to inflated prices and the siphoning of funds to the officials' personal accounts. In addition, the sale of positions to the highest bidders also contributes to corruption in the bureaucracy, as public officials are more interested in enriching themselves than serving the public.
Another factor that contributes to corruption in the bureaucracy is the lack of enforcement and punishment for corrupt officials. Despite the efforts of the NACC, many corruption cases go unpunished, as the legal system is often slow and inefficient. This lack of consequences for corrupt behavior only encourages public officials to continue engaging in corrupt practices.
In conclusion, corruption in the bureaucracy is a pervasive problem in Thailand, and it primarily relates to procurement projects, the selling of positions to the highest bidders, and bribery and exploitation of legal loopholes. To address this problem, the government must focus on increasing accountability and transparency in the procurement process, strengthening the enforcement of anti-corruption laws, and implementing effective measures to punish corrupt officials.

What's the difference between Reckless Driving (1 point) and Driving without regard for the safety of others (4 points) ?
Reckless driving and driving without regard for the safety of others are both serious traffic offenses that can result in significant penalties, including fines and points on your driver's license.
Reckless driving generally refers to the act of operating a vehicle in a way that shows a disregard for the safety of others on the road. This can include speeding, weaving in and out of traffic, running red lights or stop signs, and other dangerous behaviors.
Driving without regard for the safety of others, on the other hand, is a more serious offense that can also include reckless driving behaviors but may also involve more intentional actions, such as trying to cause an accident or intentionally driving in a way that puts others at risk. This offense is often punishable by harsher penalties, including larger fines and more points on your license.
In general, the difference between reckless driving and driving without regard for the safety of others may come down to the intent behind the actions. Reckless driving is typically seen as a more reckless or careless behavior, while driving without regard for the safety of others is more intentional and deliberate.

I was recently at a Honda dealer regarding the City e:HEV and when asked about the delivery time, he showed me an excel table showing delivery dates for the City e:HEV in different colors.
From how I understand it, at this dealer it works this way:
They have one City e:HEV on pre-order every week, varying colors, which I assume they pick by popularity.
Then he showed me that for example the car this week, and the two cars in the next two weeks are booked already, but in 4 weeks they ordered one in grey color, which isn't booked yet, and if I wanted I could book this right away (5k Baht deposit) and would then get it in 4 weeks when it's delivered to their shop.
He also explained that the red color for this car is unpopular, so they don't pre-order it. In case I wanted a red one they would require a 30k Baht deposit, and they would have to place the order at the factory, uncertain delivery date, and wait time of about 2-3 months.
They probably sell more City than they do HR-V, and maybe not all Honda dealers pre-order them, but I would assume that some dealers still pre-order maybe 1 or 2 per month or so, and if you ask around you might get one. If the factory has stopped producing them at all, due to missing parts, then this would of course not work.
Thanks! ????????

In March I decided to buy a new car, so I contacted a Honda Dealership in Bangkok. I had already made up my mind so I knew what type of vehicle I wanted to purchase.
The Honda HR-V e:HEV RS.
With all the formalities done, choosing color etc I paid a booking fee for 5000thb.
Little did I know, this journey would take me to September with no new car in the driveway. At this time they are still not able to confirm any date for delivery.
As far as I’m aware they produce these vehicles in Thailand, however I was informed that they have some issues to obtain certain “parts” from China/Taiwan for the HEV.
Anyone know if this is true? Getting bored of waiting…

How is this ok “They had been servicing the dark skinned community for the last month” or this “The media in their headline as well as immigration on a vinyl board called it a party for "colored" people”.
Are they not humans? I bet you couldn’t hide your racist views. I don’t think I have read on this platform about thais been arrested in similar gathering and been referred to as “Party of Yellow or brown people”. This is just so wrong.Nothing wrong with this, they are dark skinned and that’s just a fact, not racist.

Hi,
Does anyone know if Apple even cover this "insurance" in Thailand, since there is no official Apple Store?
I got my phone in Dubai with the Care+ package that should basically cover a cracked screen (for a small fee).
Today I've been to Siam- Paragon, Discovery and Square, no luck regarding this cover package, they offered to change the screen for 6.000,- though

Many people (more than they know) get these creatures through their drains. Get some boiling hot water and pour it through your drains every few days. It solved all my problems.
Thanks I’ll try that. Or maybe pour some Haiter down the drains, shuold kill most things I would assume.

Hi,
Lately, I've been annoyed by these small flying insects that seem to be harmless though. My question is, does anyone know what kind bugs they are? They seem to be at random places (kitchen, living-, bath- and bed-room) mostly just crawling around but sometimes flying around.
How do I get rid of these small bastards?
Attached some images, thanks.

So here is a funny story.
While travelling to the Caribbean my luggage gets lost and arrives Trinidad one week later. By that time I've already travelled offshore and unable to receive it. The airline sends it back to my home address in Bangkok with DHL. Upon delivery DHL informs me that my luggage is subject to import tax under Thai law, 2.800thb thank you very much!
Haha what a bag of shit, tax on my old underwear and shoes?? TiT lol

Oh absolutely, Thailand was so much better without all those pesky tourists ruining the scenery and taking up all the space on the beaches. It's such a shame that the local economy relied so heavily on tourism and now those poor, hardworking people are struggling to make ends meet. But hey, at least you're being honest about how much you love the idea of a deserted Thailand. Good for you.
