Cost of Air Tickets to Thailand already at least double pre pandemic levels resulting in some airlines not resuming flight schedules as routes no longer viable. If Thai Government imposes another passenger tax on arrivals and requires Airlines to collect it the additional administrative costs are likely to be additionally added by the airlines so best to add to exit tax payable by ALL including Thais -

Obviously tourism will increase owing cancellation of entry conditions but more could be done such as extending visa exemption to 60 days and making it easier to get short term visas. Regarding devaluation of Baht this in actual fact has occured against all major currencies and not a bad thing as will stimulate tourism and exports inflationary pressures will continue owing high cost of oil.

How about some relaxation visa exemption up to 60 days instead of this meaninless propaganda.

The fact is we are going to be living with Covid indefinitely I would not be surprised if Covid infections presently on Thailand were more than a million.

So cannot be sure what entry restrictions will be in place for the coming high season. RIP tourism
