Hi.

Does anyone here know of a reliable person to service an old Benz - prefer as close as possible to Jomtien, Pattaya.

It's a W123, 1983 model.

Prefer not to go to the Benz Dealership and pay their 'Premium' if there's a good mechanic around who knows old Mercs.

Also, I need a good Auto Electrician if anyone knows of one please.

Actually it's pretty easy to get decent wine in Thailand, but I wouldn't anymore expect to get it at Sizzlers than I would expect to get a good suit at a street vendor! A decent bottle Chilean red or white can be easily found for 450 a bottle

Does any other city with 9 million tourists per year have less problems....??

Indonesia charges USD$25 to get in there! It's a rip off.
If the LOS must make up for their financial mis-management by biting the hand that feeds them, at least they could disguise it a little by adding it to the levy/tax when you buy your airline ticket.

Gee for sixty bucks you can do a round trip to Singapore and get another 30 days visa on arrival... Why sweat the small stuff?
