  1. I tried with Bitkub, a Thai crypto exchange registered with SEC Thailand. I had the same problems as you and contacted support. They replied that they are currently not accepting US citizens. Many Thai people use Binance, but the same problem if you try to sign up with them, not accepting US citizens.
  2. Same coffee is 50 baht at McDonald's Major Cineplex Ekamai. 45 baht if you pay with Rabbit card.
  3. Exact same thing happened to me last week. Unfortunately, there is no one you can chat with to find a solution. If you dig deep enough, you can send a "feedback" message, but nobody will reply. My account was disabled for "violation of standards". But, I didn't do anything different from what I've been doing for the past 10 years or more.
  4. Yep, good question. I've been waiting 5 or 6 years for that to happen to see what I would do. I'll let you know.
  5. Do you think your "account" is at a physical brick and mortar location? Money in banks is not even in the banks, it's just ones and zeros on digital ledgers. That's why a "bank run" will collapse a bank. If everyone who has an account goes to the physical location to withdraw their money, they can't. Because the bank doesn't have the money. So, who cares "where your account is"?
  6. No biggie with closing of bank branches. I rarely go to any branch and haven't used them for years. If I need to make an international transfer, it's easily done with the very convenient phone app. And I never carry cash, it's just not necessary to carry cash in Thailand.
  7. My friend just did his 90 day report in Jomtien and was required to also submit a proof of address. After returning and bringing the proof of address, he was charged 2,000 baht. Is this the new normal? He was not late, the reporting was done before the due date.
  8. I'm retired and installed the app with no problem. It's very handy and I use it to pay for many things....7-11, food courts, etc.
  9. I went through Suvarnaphum last week and the egates worked fine, went through in a breeze, no hassles.
