Clearly a terrorist bird. If it were on a list, it would not be allowed in the air.
Are we getting just a bit crazy here?
What are you spouting on about. Bird strikes on take off is one of the most commonest forms of emergencies. Usually they get sucked into the engine, and if the bird is big enough, can blow the donkey. Other parts are also vunerable,ie control surfaces, antennae, radome, windscreen. That is the reason why Airport authoroties spend so much money on birdscarers, bird flares, thunderflashes etc. Bird strikes at altitude are rare, but nevertheless can still occur. Up there, your'e not going to hit a single bird, but a whole flock of them.
That sound like an expert....smile.

The answer ....don't take any chance.....wear rain coat.

I was a bit south of Nakorn Sawan yesterday, about 2pm on hiway 32(?). This huge windstorm came up, and I pulled over. In about 1 minute, it had broken off numerous smaller trees at the trunk and numerous other large branches broken off. Like something out of the wizard of oz, with stuff flying around, radical temp/humidity/pressure changes... Truly a wild scene. I think I almost found God
About an hour later, on my way back north (to CM), I noticed that this destruction was focused over only less than a kilometer, with less damage for a few k's before, and after...
Anyone have an idea, or did anyone see something in the news about it yesterday?
No haven't seen any news........you are luck this time......thanks gods.....smile.
