Hi,
I'm an Ex-Commissioned service man having served in Army for 8 years. Now I'm working in a private firm since I resigned from my duty close to 12 years a go. I would like to visit my friend and his family in CA. Does my service with Army will cause my visa to be rejected.
Thanks -

I used a london based packaging designer through that site who created a very nice packaging for us. It was our ideas though she just executed the design. I never met her all done via email. We supplied her the die cut and she provided unlimited revisions. Was a sushi making tool. A lot of them offer unlimited revisions. Most decent contractors on that site will have historical feedback and if you need design input in addition to execution then you may be charged for two steps design and execution whereas I had the design idea already.
:) I signed up and posted my job there, hope I will get someone like you did. I recently hired one but it didn't turn out well.
Thank you for answering.

I went shopping at Central with the wife today and left my passport at home. Am I missing something?

I guess bark was speed reading again.
If I am within Bangkok I usually carry only the copy of my passport and work permit and though I have been here for last 9 years nobody asked me to show my passport. But my recent duty was outside BKK so I carried them with me and thats when I forgot them with my jacket in the Van. I thank God it was company Van :) otherwise like I mentioned above my renewal of work permit and visa extension are fast approaching.
Now I am going to be super careful as I learned the hard way, I had to spend 2 sleepless nights worried. I have taken #AgMech Cowboy advice in to account.
Rest might also want to take AgMech Cowboy advice :

If your country doesnt issue passports here , wont you have to go back home to get a new PP ?
Good question but no I don't have to, I got it replaced once without having to do back only thing is it takes quite a time and thats my concern if I don't get it before my visa expires..

Assuming you have an extension of stay (not a visa) based on work that expires on December 16th ....
- You need to report the lost passport to the police.
- Your current permission to stay remains valid until Dec 16th so you don't need to leave the country.
- Once you have the new passport/police report Immigration will stamp the new passport with permission to stay until Dec 16th.
- Visas are never transferred, only the permit to stay from the original entry or subsequent extension of stay are.
first of all thank you so much for your answer, really helped.Thank you. Yes I got my NonB 2 years a go and have been on extension and the same expires on December 16th. Good to know that I didn't have to leave the country.
Thank you so much..

Hi I lost my Passport with valid NonB visa and Valid work permit few days a go, My work permit needs to be renewed on 26th November 2016 and NON B visa within 16th December 2016... I am not sure if my visa can be transferred to my new passport when I get it replaced. Secondly am not sure if I am allowed to stay in the country until I get my passport replaced because my embassy don't issue passport here so I will have to wait more than couple of weeks? I plan to report to Immigration on Tuesday as its National Holiday tomorrow... Please kindly help me if anyone got some info on this...
Many thanks in advance

And don't forget to include the date of your extension application as Day 1 of the 90-day count.
thanks, I'll do that.. .
-
You got an extension of stay not a visa.
Your 90 day report is due 90 days from the date you applied for the extension.
Many thanks for you time and advice...

Hi everyone, please kindly help me with this issue... I got my work visa in mid December 2014 during that time they stamped only for a month and was asked to report on Jan 16, 2014 for hearing so on Jan 16th 2015 they extended my work visa for a year... so my question is when should my 90 days reporting be counted from... is it from the first stamp or after getting one year stamp...
Thanks in advance

wow whats going on now in this country? putting guns in the hands of civilians? is thats the benefit of having Military Government? if i suggest government should send all the soldiers from streets of bangkok to sort southern problem out. but well they need to show off here in bangkok with brigades of army walking around with deadly gears while letting buffalo herders in the south fight their way out by issuing guns...

well nothing much will be changed as we all know, those folks say so many things and just do nothing but all they do is to keep their face and chair for as long as they can thats why they brag a lot on media. all are same and should there be justice there shall be none left without charges because they are all same....

let's try out if it is capable of making holes or not, looks like you know a lot about itFunny how only flower pots and windows are damaged from these "bombs"There's very little that is funny about bombs. Perhaps you'd prefer a few deaths and maimings?
Bombing a residence or anywhere else for that matter is serious regardless of the side you are on.
The police reported them as fire crackers.
Firecrackers neither make holes on roofs big enough for a man to pass through nor leave shrapnel gouges.
Go to the Bangkok Post website, see the photos and tell me if firecrackers do that sort of damage.
