  1. I honestly never knew you were so prolific on this forum. Perhaps I would have posted else where if I had known. but hold on there isn'y anywhere else! This valid forum is being ruined by tin-pot despot!

To answer your questions, if they are really vaild:

I am looking for a reasonably well educated Thai man who loves me for me, not for my wallet. I don't stereotype and go for specific types.

  2. Steven H, I am sensing some hostility. I have never made any anti-gay references. My suspension was for giving supposedly unhelpful advice in the visa section. Are you intimidated by someone who is completely open and doesn't hide behind a mask?

  3. Hi Guys, I am a sixty four year old gay American and am looking for a partner (of the non bar boy variety) in his late teens/ early twenties. Is there any hope for an old fool like me? Are Thai men interested in the more mature male? I am so nervous about this I don't know what to think.

  4. Police Lieutenant-General Kridsana said officials have found that several narcotics factories belong to minority groups in Thailand's neighboring countries

That would be those minority groups that run those neighbouring countries then ?

The UNION of Myanmar is made up of a myriad of ethnic groups. The Wa State Army, which is blamed for much of the drugs production in Myanmar, controls an area in a special administrative zone situated in the north of the country.

  5. Oh god Americana!!!!

Anyway Spurs, my advise would be Koh Samui, although I have never been to Cha Am.  But Samui is a good family place with lots to do for all family types and all age ranges.  When were you thinking of coming?

I like it better when he is in work. Then he doesn't infest us day and night. Want him back Cute ?

  8. Hi,

I'm currently looking for an apartment relatively (somewhat) close to Don Muang airport (if it's a nice/decent apartment, I am willing to commute further).  I'm interested in places such as Lak Si, Chang Wattana, outskirts of Nonthaburi, north of the airport, etc etc.  ...and of course right by the airport too.  Price/size I'm looking for really depends on what the apartment is like.

Thanks very much for any insight!

    Cheers,

This isn't what thaivisa is looking for :o
  9. Hi

I'm new to the forum, but I browsed around and I couldn't find any posts on this topic. I'm flying into Bangkok on the 28th of November, and I don't know where I'm going to stay. I originally thought that I would simply take a taxi from the airport to Khao San Road and walk around till I find a suitable guest house. However, I browsed around a few web sites to check out prices (but of course I could only find hotels) and I saw that most of the hotels were almost fully booked. Is it necessary to book a room before I go? I don't want to arrive in Thailand and not have a place to stay because I didn't book...

Also, can someone maybe recommend some of the guest houses? I'm not too fussy, I just want a place that's reasonably clean.

    Thx before

Oh and by the way, me and my friend are planning to backpack for 2 months...

(I posted this on the accommodation forum, but I think this is a better place for it...)

  10. PUBLIC HAS BEEN WARNED OF A NEW CULT SAYING ALIENS MADE MAN

Culture Minister URAIWAN THIENTONG (อุไรวรรณ เทียนทอง) said the Ministry of Culture will keep a close eye on RA ALIEN (ราเอลเลี่ยน) Cult, while insisting that the authority will certainly not endorse such ideology.

Mrs. URAIWAN revealed that RA ALIEN Cult has propagandized information about aliens through the internet and various documents. According to its belief, humans on Earth have been created by extraterrestrial beings. Moreover, the cult is persuading others to donate money.

The Culture Minister said personally, she does not accept this cult and their beliefs, particularly concerning adoption and abortion. She has assigned the Religious Affairs Department and the Culture Monitoring Center (ศูนย์เฝ้าระวังทางวัฒนธรรม) to keep a close eye on this group of people.

She has also warned the general public to use good judgment before accepting this cult.

What gives the the Culture Minister (or anyone else, for that matter) the right to decide what people can or can not believe in? Either a case of a stupid politician or a journalist who wasn't capable of reporting.

Most likely a combination of both - TIT..... :D
