No compensation from Jetstar as have no receipts and i had no real costs except for changing flight to Brisbane which was $49 so not worth claiming, i was just disappointed they showed no compassion. with circumstances out of my control.

Got treated appallingly on Monday night at Phuket airport, i didnt realise was one day over 30day stay so pay 500bht and then Jetstar cancels flight back to Sydney Australia as say plane broke down so everyone to be put up in accommodation for night so go to leave and immigration say no way you cant leave airport so forced to try and sleep on floor or chair , no shower no blanket nothing till able to fly back nearly 24 hours later, so much for spending 90,000 bht on hotel and over 100,000bht on food, drink ,etc.

Cant imagine the Chinese being big spenders as everything in China should be relatively cheap so should be encouraging other rich countries to come spend there money, good to see cruise ships back in Phuket!

I can sympathise with the man as its hard to get Thailand out of the system and he would have had many happy memories.

Why wouldn't one get up and sit some where else

I wouldnt jump on the back expecting to pay anything less than 100 bht.

That is just appalling treatment for 2 tablets and certainly a warning for every one else if you didnt already know to keep away from drugs.

Very rarely do we hear problems involving Singapore people, i find them some of the nicest people on the planet.

Think it needs tearing down and starting again.

Yes there are never enough stories and warnings to get quality insurance, wear a helmet, don't drink and ride, and always ride as if everybody is out to get you.

Why a thousand, why not make same as land borders at 500 bht a lot easier to stomach.

Honestly dont know why some people are on this forum, love Thailand, Love Phuket why do so many people visit and like me keep returning, has so many great beaches and places that are not crowded and i have travelled all over Thailand. Also have soft spot for Hua Hin .
