Now I wait for the announcement: Several countries waiting in line to apply for a licensed copy of the new Thai constitution.

Was Ms.'They come here for the temples' in the audience?

It is estimated there are 500.000 food seller in Bangkok alone. Most of them do this because they are not qualified to get a real job and they are also not qualified to claim unemployment money. The same applies to hundreds of thousand motorbike taxi jockeys and over 100.000 official sex worker in the country. And Bloomberg's statistician count these people as 'not unemployed'? It looks like they are applying for a contract to become the spin doctors for North Korea.

Just a gentle reminder. An excerpt from the "unofficial English translation" of the draft charter. This is what people were asked to vote for:
Section 34 A person shall enjoy the liberty to express his opinion, make speech, write, print, publicize, and make expression by other means.
Section 36 A person shall enjoy the liberty of communication by whatsoever means.

And now I'm waiting for those in the villages drunk on superior moral and Thai culture storming the barricades saying: who needs sex education when we marry our kids at the age of 14 or below?
Their usual explanation, once the kids learned how to do it, the wanna do it all the time does not work, as we all know from math, science and physics classes provided in this country.

It would appear that the CDC proposes to draft laws that would be a duplication of, and run parallel to, those already in use by parliament itself. A legally constituted parliament has the authority to call before the bar any member deemed to be in contravention of parliament's standing orders. It also has the authority to hand down punishment should the member be found to have contravened those standing orders. The current law allowing for a politician to appeal any conviction should be no more and no less than that for an ordinary citizen. One should always be cognisant of the fact that politicians are the servants of the people.
Am I the only one missing the term "influential figures" in this?

That's the last thing a country needs where hundreds of phone addicts already block every pedestrian path, escalator, entrance to BTS & MRT on your way to work. Seems like nobody here can walk or drive 100 m without advice from FB.

Thailand's Sopita Tanasan wins 48kg gold…
If she won 48 kg gold, on her return expect a looong discussion at the airport customs about her hand luggage.

Except shopping and eating what else is not banned in LKY family enterprise?

What if this is a trophy over-stayer who developed a technique to be undetected under the immigration radar?

Damn! I only hear voices all the time telling me I'm surrounded by very weird people.

How is a selfie a danger to Prayuth and his regime? A selfie/momento of one's self is hardly a threat to national security neither is a party at ones private residence which are also banned over the weekend.
How is a selfie a danger to Prayuth and his regime?
The same way as eating a sandwich in public is deemed a danger to his regime.

No YES or NO shirts. Does it mean I have to borrow a swastika T-shirt tomorrow from one of the shitake kids in the hood?

I wonder if she has the tag "Public Figure" on her FB page...

Fresh milk is one to watch but in another way. We have an outer circlel family member visit quite often, he's totally consumed by 'beautiful'. different example: don't take the fruit out of the packaging and make sure other visitors can see the price label, the fruit looks more beautiful in the packaging (even simple cheap plastic bag), and the price will impress people.
Fresh milk. Three growing kids, so we buy / consume a lot of Meiji fresh milk, 2l and 1l size plastic bottles. If 2 new bottles in the fridge everybody knows to open the bottle with the use by date that expires first.
Our mr. beautiful just won't listen and pushes the kids to not open any 2l bottles so they are always full and look impressive to anybody who might open the fridge. All attempts to explain that milk spoils after a few days and can make you very sick is ignored and he just repeats 'that's not true, it's the same as water or pepsi'.
Wow! What a story. Ever felt the itch writing a book on this subject?

Put the boxes to a good use- fill 'em up with "Thailand No. 1" stickers and burn them.

It's time for Miss "Thailand is safe" to change the TAT slogan "Amazing Thailand" to: If life gets boring risk it- visit Thailand!

I think it would rather help to be dead drunk to vote in a referendum were your "YES" vote count, while your "NO" vote would not make any difference. Cheers, Salut, Kampai, Sláinte, Skol, Ваше здоровье, Na zdrowie, Serefe,

The 62 year-old doesn't look remotely like either a lady or a boy to me.
The view changes if you walk down Pattaya's infamous Beach Road at 3 AM with faked dark Ray Ban shades on your nose. Even though you'll need them to avoid being blinded by the shine of your 2 baht golden necklace.

Thai justice: a crime is not considered as such anymore the moment money change hands. Then why did they make the afford to write down thousands of paragraphs in the "book of law" when one line in a bank book makes them obsolete?
