My latest 90 day report on line application has been approved. First attempt. Only applied yesterday (a Sunday). I guess this proves getting a reminder 15 days prior as we used to ... no longer is done / guaranteed. Not getting one indicates ferk all.

Many thanks for reply. I guess it would be best to apply as soon as the 15 day prior window opens. In theory you then got 22 day window to try 7 times .. before having to travel to the office. I was just curious if they even send reminders now. My last day to do my 90 day is 2 days before my first possible day to renew annual visa. So keen to avoid 2 trips as I am bone idle. Hey Ho ... lots of throws at the stumps might be enough.

A tiny bit off topic ... but I dont want to start a new topic. The OP mentioned his online 90 day report was rejected. Mine is due in 12 days but I have not had a reminder by email as I used to get 15 days prior. I have just applied on line .. and now wondering if no reminder is a bad omen or not. Do they still send reminders ? And also wonder if the OP applied on line more times. My last report was rejected. 3 days later it allowed me to try again. It wont allow before 3 days have elapsed. I did it the exact same way and it was accepted that time.

I did a 90 day report, at Jomtien today ... as my online report was rejected. Some lighthearted points of note .... I asked if they knew why my online report was rejected. They straight away, half pushed my form back towards me and said .. if you want to know that, come back later as the person who might know is not here yet. I am guessing he is a manager and they wont risk being complained at. I was just curious not gonna complain. I said .. forget it. I will just do the 90 day report now. I had to get some photo copies of some passport pages done. I went to the copying place opposite the 90 day report entrance. I knew what pages I needed. The guy also produced an application form. I said I not need, I have filled one in.. Just do me the photocopies. He got out a blank TM 47. Not take no for answer. I repeated .. I have filled one in myself. I not need you to do. He wanted to see the form I had completed. Then he said .. that is no good. They wont accept that. He claimed for starters, I had not filled in the address in the correct places. I always ignore spaces for Tambol and Amphur etc etc. I dont know my Amphur from my elbow. i just write the address .. not neccesarily in the right spaces. Been doing that for 12 years. Never a problem. He says they wont accept it like that. Big smile on his face. I suspected I was being scammed to be honest but was not able to arque. I just wanted to get the 90 day report done. He insisted he fills in a new form, for me. Chuckling and smiling away . Then he wanted 160 baht including photocopying. I just paid to move things along. No big deal but cheeky I think. When I handed the form over at the application desk they rejected the form that he had just filled in. I had only signed and dated it. Amazingly, it took them half a second to reject it. And gave no explaination. Just sort of pushed it back to me. Hardly looking at it. I quickly got out the form I had done myself and they were instantly happy with it !!! TIT. So beware the photo copying place scam. 160 baht not crime of century I guess. But 100 + baht a time from lots of customers each day nets him a good sum. But, it was creepy the way he smiles as he insists he redo my TM47. I realise now he is laughing at my gullibility and not being super helpful. Strange his form ( I just signed it) rejected so quick. The guy checking the applications before giving out a turn ticket, was practically snarling and very unfriendly. He hates his job or falang I thinks. No big deal, I guess but it would not be hard for him to to be pleasant. Thailand is not often the Land of Smiles. Often the Land of Snarls more like it. i hope my next 90 day can be done online. Takes all morning in person. Hey Ho.

Online reporting worked for me the 2 times I have done it. What a good innovation. Errrrrr but the latest one has just been rejected with no reason why given. I have moved condo so might be that. I have read up on the documents and forms required ..seems simple enough but it is a wind up. And a long taxi trip, so pressure is on to get it done at one visit. The condo agent has given me a copy of the TM30 they submitted. Never seen one before. I was expecting something to say that it was accepted or acknowledged. It is just what they submitted on line. Hey Ho .. I guess on Monday I will go and see them and jump through more hoops.

I am having a problem reporting online today. This will be my 3rd online report and it was very smooth first 2 times. (I have just moved and my new address has been notified by the agent). It is asking for my address (I think it remembers such details after the first report from an address). Whatever .. my problem is it will not accept PATTAYA as my city of residence. On first line (I thjnk it was asking for District .. it accepts Chonburi .. next line it wants the city .. it wont take Pattaya or Na Klua. Just clears my typing on me pressing enter. My cunning plan is to try again tomorrow. Maybe the system needs a reboot. But meanwhile .. anyone else had/having this problem ?. Going to Jomtien will be a pain.

I do not know. That is what a lawyer told me. I know 'nuffing'.

I believe a Will in Thailand has to be in Thai to be legal / be of any use. My Will is in Thai and the lawyers provide a copy of the draft in English. (One post immediately above suggested a Will in English would do .. I have read that it wont and OHM confirmed this).

Yesterday I signed/completed my Will using a law firm called OHM. They are in Naklua. Easy-ish to find as they are in the BOLT App and on internet. Well ..you can get close to the correct place ... but they have no sign saying OHM. It is confusing. But if you see a shop front saying visa appllications etc done .. that will be them. (I thought OHM was the initials of the company but it is the name or nickname of the owner .. but OHM Naklua search will find them .. they have a different name too but I will leave that there) Mine was a very simple Will. No property .. just cash in bank and some valueable personal effects They charged 5,000 baht and in the future will charge my son 30,000 to be executers to get the cash from the bank for him. As there is a fair amount of money in my bank it would be crazy not to do a Will and let Kasikorn have it and I was happy with OHM's charge / future charge. They are very helpful, friendly and efficient in person. One strange-ish thing they told me was about why they put my copy (and did same thing to their copy) of the Will in an envelope which was sealed up with substantial tape and the seal signed many times by me. It is because if the beneficiaries see the will it is void by Thai Law. I was going to send my son a copy but hey ho. I better not. Just told him I have done a will and joked it was going to be donated to a retirement home for ex Go Go dancers. The envelope has a huge label in Thai which says I assume, it is my Will and only to be open by authorised legal type people. So there you go ...

I have not read every post in this topic so forgive me if the following has been discussed. In my experience any branch can provide a letter that proves you have an account with Kasikonrn. BUT ... only the main branch can provide a letter that itemises 12 international imports (65,000 baht income minimum) I know this for certain as 2 years ago I attempted to get a letter from my normal branch in the correct format. They said no .. go to main branch. That is the one in Central Road. Immigration were not very helpful the first year, not explaining what exactly was wrong but told me eventually. I guess they want me to use an agent. Last year I thought I was being clever and just get the letter from the Jomtien branch. They gave me a print out of incomings and outgoings from my account. I was not convinced but it might have changed I thought ... as they near Jomtien Immigration and I thought must do many such letters .. I took it to try renew my retirement extension. (Jomtien branch easier to get to than the main branch). But no. They (Immigration) just want the 12 international imports listed and rejected this format for second year. Durrrrrr I should have freaking learnt. I went to the main branch again and got the info in the correct format and they confirmed they were the only branch that can list International incomings (and not all the account ins and outs). Confusion reigns a bit even after you get to the main branch. As not all employees know anything about it. You need the desk far right as you enter. Well that was the desk last 2 years but things change, I guess. I have thought it very strange there was no other chat room chatter about this .. till now I have not seen any .. if indeed the problem is as in my case.

Excuse my muppetry ... but because of the upheaval of moving condo, and problems here and in the UK that have occupied my mind ..... I have totally lost track about how now to get a covid booster(s) in Pattaya. (Free or paid). I assume Royal Garden programme in this thread is finished. The search engine on here not getting me far, sorry if info is in a thread I cant find. (I had 2 Pfizer last year).

UK Passport Renewal New Blue Passports
PAWNEESE replied to prakhonchai nick's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
I was confused reading that the new UK passports are blue. Because ... I only received a new one a few days ago ... and considered it to be black. I had to get it and look again. I am looking at it now. Its black. A very very trivial thing .. but I was a tiny bit curious. I dont care .. but why is mine different ? Was my thought. So I asked Mr Google and read that many consider that there new colour to be black. Not just me. So you may hear from confused old codgers like me saying they are black. ???? -
Yeah your right. Apologies for being a stoooopid irriot. In 2012 when I renewed I saw it was more than 10 years and assumed it was credit from the unexpired passport validity. I have just given it proper thought / calculation for the first time in 10 years. ???? Durrrrrrr. I did not think overly much ... sorry.
