  1. 31,000 baht/sq metre in Bang Saray. 500 metres from the beach. The same would cost twice that amount in Pattaya (which is only 15 minutes by car). Pattaya is full and had its day. Time to move on.

  2. Fitness, adventure and fun all rolled into one..................Go cycling for 4 hours per day, changing routes frequently so you do not get rumbled by the Mrs. or a mugger and do not be afraid of the smaller unexplored roads, as these can lead to watering holes of the beaten track. I had years of fun doing this.

  3. I have been informed that the so called car park will in fact be a market place. Perhaps logic will prevail and they will build a car park behind the water park on the same side of the Sukhumvit.........but then this is Thailand.

  4. Sell the house and move into a condo; no pets allowed. Plus you get on site maintenance engineers who can support you when required, unlike on housing estates. Rent condos in different areas to decide where suits you first and get an idea of condo life.

  5. Hope you enjoyed the game or should I say the t!!t of a manger Mourhino (aka Maureen - whinging t!!t) in the press conference berating HIS team again. What an <deleted>.

  6. If you plan on spending 10000 baht............spend 5ooo baht on gold and she will give you your freedom for the rest of the day where you can spend the other 5000 baht as you please. Don't be surprised though when you return that the gold has been misplaced or sold. Happy days!

  7. You think the Chow Box is bad, you should try the Thai-Ger restaurant on Jomtien beach road, very poor with very high prices. Kiss is excellent value for money and you can see the cooks cooking which is always a plus.

  8. I have recently suffered 2 collapsed discs in my back. I was given the usual medication from BPH, however they are reluctant to advise what can be done other than to alleviate the pain. This is no surprise as the BPH is basically a pharmacy that charges hign prices for medication that can be obtained from a regular pharmacy at a much lesser cost.

Before I consult a Doctor of Chiropractic, is there anybody out there that has suffered similar and can advise what can be done. I would also like to know what exercises can be done and those exercises that should be avoided e.g. cycling and swiming are OK but jogging is not.

Appreciate all responses, cynical or otherwise.
