Was time to upgrade my iphone, dreading it after reading of people having so many issues with bank apps and e-sim. Did the data transfer in the phone store and the DTAC e-sim moved over without an issue. Before trying to change over my banking apps I thought I would need proof of my name connected to the service, True and DTAC have now merged so went to True store, nice young lady installed the True app on my phone, activated it and showed where I could load a certificate showing it is my number. I bank with K-bank and BB, both have branches in the Robinsons I was in. I opened the apps, followed the prompts entering account details and passport number & phone number and never needed to enter bank branch. The BB required a face scan + smile showing teeth but all good. So, just a post to allay fears, the entire process filled an afternoon but it seems I was worried about nothing.

Last year had to do an online test to get local licence, not sure what a written test will add.

my situation slightly different as staying at home with wife. went to Mukdahan office with wife, girls sat with me showing how to register wife as TM30 host on their PC. Their system gave her username and password based on my email but only did 90% as could not attach files to their PC. When home logged into the account, loaded a scan of her house book and ID and she fully registered - logged in again, entered my details and I am registered for TM30. Each time I come now no more TM30 hassle, log onto wife's account and report myself for TM30.

Sad to see victim blaming here. Each of us has fallen for a deception at some time but maybe not as bad as this. Human trafficking has millions of victims every year, sometimes fatal consequences, there is no excuse for the perpetrators and to blame victims is pure arrogance and bastardry.
