Bartpix I believe there is a large group of members of Phoenix that are now playing other courses as visitors for the same as it would cost them at Phoenix as Members.How do I get in touch with them ?

I frequently hire cars in Thailand I also have a history in car insurance,I have also damaged cars on two occasions.Firstly there seems to be approx 10000 baht limit on excesses in Thailand that is if you haven't paid extra to cover the excess,this should show on your hire documents.If the repair to the vehicle would be less than this may be worth getting it repaired.As the hire company is likely to charge you the total amount of the excess even if the damage is minimal as they will say there is loss of income as the car will be out of service whilst repair is done.

My first thoughts were that the new owners of Phoenix were sophisticated business people and there was logic behind what they were doing.I am now thinking that they are clueless and just thought they could get away with it.Keep up the policy of staying away.If I played there as a none member and gave my caddy a 300 baht tip it would cost me £72 to play !!!

Thaijett this is not just about members it is about astronomical increases in the cost to play there,I am not a member but will no longer be able to play there.As a fellow golfer it would have been nice to have your support but as they say "up to you"

Does anyone know if the Mike Poustie renegades are still playing at Phoenix ? He seems to think that it will make our case stronger if they continue to play. Can someone explain that one to me please.

. Is there any truth in the rumour that paying the 24k is accepting the new terms and conditions ? Therefore will not benefit from any concessions the protesters get.I certainly hope so.
